Not much you can do I guess, depending on where you live.
When all of this started people were doing the birthday drive bys and virtual celebrations, which I thought was cute. I joked that I wanted a birthday drive by not expecting when my birthday came around in July we'd still be in the midst of a pandemic.
Most places were still closed where I lived and other places it wouldn't have been much fun to have to celebrate with masks/social distancing. So I stayed home and got to relax most of the day, my family made me a special meal, and we had cake.
Debating skipping work that day but I’m just gonna go shopping and to the casino some days before. The only difference is that i won't go to the movies or out to eat this time
I’d like to think its cause my bday is this month 😂
Happy belated bday
"Very carefully", 86 said. "Very carefully".
but seriously folks,
We have been part of 6-7 "Zoom" parties for birthdays, showers, etc.
Certainly not ideal, but , it's something I guess.
I don't know. I didn't do sh*t for mine.
Happy Birthday!

I live in NY, my birthday is in May and we were at the peak of the pandemic at that time so everything was closed, save for grocery stores and restaurants (for takeout only). My mom bought me a cake from the grocery store across the street and we ordered takeout. It definitely was different from the way I usually celebrate but it wasn’t bad. It was a nice birthday
Took a mini trip last year with just me and my closies in a small number at a resort that has a beachhh and other fun stuff that you need to have a great birthday with less risks. Originally was supposed to be at Vegas, but I wanna stay alive Lol.
Last year, my friends and I celebrated over zoom. We all got Korean foods and our favourite drinks and synced our favourite movie so we can watch it at the same time and be commentators like normal. It was nice.
Mine's coming up.
Might treat myself to actual champagne instead of prosecco and get dressed up for the pizza guy.
Plus I won't have to share cake.
I went out and had a Great time. Went shopping, Got a great drink. then came home.. and watched something funny! Kept celebrating it... ;)
Mental celebration? I do this every year. Only my mom can remember my birthday anyways. I don't have a lot of people to care, so...
I hope it's not because there's a big spreader, getting infected from his/her birthday party, right?
Well mine was earlier in January, so I spent it with family and just got some take out with a birthday cake. To be honest, there isn't much you can do if the majority of place have been closed off to the public...
I had my brithday last August. I was at my parents house so it was just me, my parents, my brother and grandma. That's the best you can do during a lockdown.
The same way they did before Covid - they stick a huge cucumber up their bum and turn on the cooking channel.
I had my two best friends come over and we hung out in my front yard.
My bfs bday was last August. We all went out for a birthday private flight. Was beautiful. Then to dinner. just like any other day.
just wear mask, stay away from people, don’t touch face area and wash hands.
enjoy life...
either have a lonely depressing birthday or zoom everyone in for 20 mins then resume your lonely birthday.
Well here is hoping things will be better by July. If not I guess I will just have a steak & a cold one then watch a movie at home.
We did this outside. I went to the gun range. Taco food truck.
I bought myself some extra treats online. Otherwise not really celebrated.
Mine was at the end of January and honestly, I just spoiled myself
Last year I just had dinner alone... so an otherwise typical day during the height of the first lockdown.
This year whatever the hell I please. Lockdown be damned...
I celebrated my online playing League with friends, or another online game that can have a full party
I'm just going to have a Cake and order a Taco Pizza.. My birthday is Feb 9th 2021
I hope you have a wonderful birthday, sir.
@Jamie05rhs Aww thank you so much, my friend appreciate the kindness 👍
You're welcome!
Say as usual
Drinking scotch and smoking a cigar on my own contemplating the next year of my life
Same way I do every year... by ignoring it and avoiding family trying to do something for me.
My 50th birthday just came and went with no celebration due to the lockdown here.
My girlfriend came over a week before and stayed a month. Not sure if she's off in enough time this year though.
A park? Really it’s being indoors with a group of people you aren’t living with is the bad thing. And masks.
I just went to Fort Lauderdale and did what I wanted to do everything is open back in August
I think we know the answer to this because we've pretty much all celebrated at least one now
I think I cooked. I’ve never been one to celebrate birthdays.
not at all. in the 2020 society, you're an unresponsible egoistic asshole if you're trying to live a "normal" life...
Do it like portugueses, just ignore covid rules and party anyway with 100 people.
No just a joke.
Like usual. Fear of covid is stupid.
The same way you celebrate when there is not a fake death scare.
😂😂😂😂
With a cake of handsantizer
Normally we would go out for a meal
I just didn't
@manthan_7 didn't feel like it
@manthan_7 September 18th I really dont
