A friend of mine who lived in northern New England won a sweepstakes for free lift tickets for a year at a major resort and then proceeded to arrange for me to get free ski equipment and that was my birthday gift. I guess all the times I told her I hate cold weather didn't sink in. She just could not wrap her head around the concept that anyone could not just be obsessed with cold and snow. I hated it when I was a kid. She was very angry because I didn't accept her gifts and told her I could never make use of it because I would not be caught dead at a ski resort. She was even more upset when I told her I was moving to Florida. It is physically painful for me to experience air that is below freezing. My joints ache, I get muscle spasms all over and my tinnitus becomes unbearable. since moving to Florida no joint pain no muscle spasms and the tinnitus is barely noticeable. And where I lived up north before I had 250 feet of sidewalk and a 40 foot driveway I had to shovel or the town would fine me $25/foot.
We don't have so much snow round here and both the gardens I'm likely to mow have sit on mowers. All the roads round here are salted and plowed by tractors so hopefully I wouldn't get stuck in.
The truth? I don’t cut lawns... I pay to have it cut. Shovel snow? No snow here, but when I did live with snow? I pay for snow removal too.. 🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻 I’ve done both as a kid and they both Suck !
@Brainsbeforebeauty I’d rather be in the cold, I can put on more clothes to stay warm. In the heat? . You can get naked. After that, where can you go? You just sweat ( which I hate ) and stay hot. I seriously, can’t think and become one of the 90% !😖 when I’m hot ! 🤗 🤗
Shoveling snow. I love the smell of fresh cut grass or I did until I read somewhere that is a pheromone they let off from being attacked. I love the look of a nicely cut lawn. It is therapeutic to me seeing where the grass had been cut compared to the uncut.
If I HAD to choose, it would be shoveling, but it’s something you can’t avoid. If you own a house it’s gotta be done. I use a snowblower most of the time, unless we get only a couple inches.
That I do, red brick home. Me and my dog. Though my driveway isn’t that big. I usually snowblow the neighbors driveway too. Grass takes me about an hour.
I don't mind either one. Snow shoveling is a lot more back breaking and you're more likely to be sweating your ass off mowing the lawn. I prefer the cold so I like snow shoveling.
Since I live in Southern California close to the beach I never have to shovel snow. I do mow my lawn every other week on average and I don't mind doing it.

I pay a service for both and have never done either in my life.
In fact I think once when I was eight I helped a friend cut their lawn grass.
There's you go👍
can't really answer as I’ve never shoveled snow. Living in Florida it’s not an activity most of us do.
Well if you wanna find out you can shovel my drive next winter🤣🤣
Might take you up on that offer if I lose enough weight by then :)
I do not dislike any of them, i like both specially shovelling the snow it's kind of work out for me 😁
Oh it definitely can be
I moved over 1400 miles to sunny Florida to avoid ever shoveling snow again so...
I would rather mow a farm then shovel a sidewalk.

Yeah Florida sounds much better

Right! So true
Shoveling snow is a pain in the ass , Cutting grass can be as well but I enjoy that better on my riding
Tractor and a beer in my hand
Well yeah that way don't sound so bad lol
Makes it better lol
Happy that I don't have to do either and never will again.
Lucky you!!

I hate the cold so shoveling snow. Besides I have a riding mower so I just go out with my headphones and ride around my yard.
You need to ride that here lololol that cutting the grass meme was me other day pretty much lolol
FCKING SNOW!! I wish it was legal to put a flame wand on my propane tank, and just melt it away!!
That would be easier lol
Shoveling snow, because it’s in the cold, and the cold sucks. It also generally takes longer.
True depending on how much snow you get and how often in the season
I actually like the smell of freshly cut grass.
For me, shoveling snow isn't fun at all.
Oh I don't like Shoveling snow either but you have to do it less per session usually then cut the grass
Shoveling snow by a landslide. I'll take pushing a mower over shoveling wet heavy snow any day.
👍👍
Cutting the grass, because we never have enough snow to need shoveling.
👍👍 well anytime you feel like Shoveling I'll be nice and key you shovel mine lolol
*let
Bring it here and I will shovel it. :-)
😂😂

Yeah I know, specially if you live alone

My driveway don't seem that big either till I have to shovel it lololol
Always.
Shoveling snow is terrible. We don’t have to do it anymore because we have a tractor with a bucket to clear our driveway.
Well that works
Trust me you're not missing out lol
Hahaha!

Right! Right, and same here

Close to the beach sounds nice
Not sure why I see some of these days later lol. It is nice and the weather is pretty nice all year.
