I'd say that parts of France and Italy, where people are proud of their locally produced food, are much better.
Granted, healthy U. S. food is hard to find because so much produce is GMO, and most meat and produce is full of chemicals. Giant agri-business controls the USDA. On top of that, almost all food on grocery store shelves is processed and full of high fructose corn syrup and chemicals.
And fast food isn't even food.00 Reply

I don’t think our food is unhealthy I think people just eat the unhealthy food waay too much like and people care way more about what taste good or what they like rather than what’s good for them like horseradish I freaking hate horseradish it’s so nasty but it’s really good for me so I eat it and my siblings always ask why are you eating this disgusting food because I want a healthy heart and respiratory system don’t get me wrong I’m not saying don’t avoid the unhealthy food completely but to say no and every now and again and not overdo it with healthy or unhealthy food is discipline I believe that’s the biggest issue people lack discipline when it comes to their diets

I feel America has so many buffets. Lol. I don’t know for sure but that always stood out for me when I was there. I always remember Golden Coral. Buffet they had so much. Even steak. Lol. My dad loved it. I miss Olive Garden. Their salad is amazing.

It’s only a product of the novelty of our situation that people can do it and live relatively normal lives. We’re omnivores and surely we eat too much meat these days due to over abundance, but the opposite vegetarian movement is just as unnatural.
02 ReplyIt’s not. American food tastes better, so you end up eating more. You stay thin in the UK because the food is so awful that you have to muster all your strength to shovel down a couple spoonfuls of the growl. It’s a thought process of this might taste like human sewage, but I don’t want to starve to death either… Alright then mate, one more spoonful. Down you go...

All country's have different laws to the portions allowed, import costs, sugar tax etc. And England is always trying to make it harder but not to hard to get unhealthy stuff so this is why we don't have stuff like bigger portions, different flavors Mountain dew, different sweets. However it's not to hard to get unhealthy stuff here.
It's very different but still got lots of unhealthy stuff. Are government keeps working ageist it just like how america's does, just we do it more efficiently.00 ReplyWe had a malnutrition issue in the past and there was combine effort of the scientific community, US government, and food industry to fix the issue by promoting the message of eat more. This cause the food industry to see major porfit growth. When we started to overweight issue the scientific community and to reverse track but the food industry didn't lose all their growth so they use they money to weaken laws thay would regulate their industry.

+1 yBecause processed food sells more, lasts longer and is cheaper. It’s a win , win for the government to sell as it keeps the medical industry rich as well. We wouldn’t have as much health issues if our food just wasn’t so processed

@Kairithecatgirl it was sarcasm that went over the Blue Anon Cowards head.
The main thing is variation on fast food and portion sizes.
An Indian, Chinese, Italian are pretty much the same world over but portion sizes and variations in processed for play a huge part - +1 y

00 Reply 6.3K opinions shared on Other topic. It's a fair question... Maybe because it's more manufactured and made to taste good yet not made to be healthy 🤔
