I actually have the perfect answer for this.
Average Americans are born with about half the functioning brain cells they need to survive, so unfortunately they have to combat this with the food they eat because the lack of braincells cause them to have to work overtime causing gluttonous hunger.
However those with special conditions that cause chemical imbalance like anxiety and depression, more often than not those come with eating disorders. As an American, the amount of stupid people I have to interact with daily made me lose hope in humanity and I've been raw doggin this mental illness for years because America doesn't care about mental health.
I'm fat, actually I have the body of a grown woman and have since I was twelve and since no one could understand I just developed early I've been labeld as fat my entire life. That has also aided in my mental illness.
Fatness can be directly correlated to trauma, or stupidity, as well as inaccessibility.
It's not the end of the world to have a little extra tummy. It's not gross. Having a comfortable body is a good thing and if you have to go to extremes to keep the body you have, it's likely not good for you, that goes for overeating, undereating, overexercise and under exercise.
Your body deserves to be comfortable and if you can't just exist comfterably on either side of the spectrum you need to go to therapy and work things out with a therapist.
The only reason you should gain or lose weight is to be more comfortable with yourself, not because someone told you to. You're the only one who can make your body feel good and if your body feels good the way it is then don't listen to others. Other people are more worried about looks than how you feel on the inside.
Usually the people who tell you not to be comfortable in your body aren't comfortable in theirs and need therapy. Unless they are just a shit person. Then I think their IQ is lower than room temperature.38 Reply- +1 y

Because food in America is often less restricted, small serving sizes frequently contain greater amounts of sugars, fats, salt, unhealthy chemicals, and so on. Which creates an imbalance in people's hormones. Causing their bodies to crave more of it & likely causing them to eat more than a serving in one sitting. And many companies know this so they purposefully avoid making foods too dense or satiating for that very reason.

I also remember seeing a picture of a pizzeria in Germany that had pizzas in small, medium, large and American.10 Reply- 3.1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
