If we could live a fairytale, what would your happily ever after ending consist of? Mine would be getting to be a happy healthy wife/mother to a happy healthy husband and at least 2 happy healthy children. I’d work a 9-5, 4 day a week dream job that paid anywhere $50k+. I’d be able to retire by 50 lol. Shoot maybe even age 40 haha. I know thats not enough but I’m just dreamin lol. I’d have built a nice 3 bed, 2 bath, 2 car garage for around $350k or less including land at that. But I’d own all my cars below haha. And if hubby doesn't want to drive, the hired chauffer will. And if hubby doesn’t want to cook, the hired chef will. Lol. I’d make enough to give at least $100 and nice care packages to every homeless person I cross on the street. I’d start my own lingerie line and late night radio show on the side. I’d get to screenwrite/direct my biopic. I’d get to manage a casino. I’d pay off my mom and grandparents homes and leave them at least $1k each in a stocking every Christmas. I’m sure there's more. I just can’t think of it atm. #FeelFreeToList#HappilyEverAfter
My happily ever after would consist of: my man and I both being healthy and happy.. All our animals being healthy and happy we have 2 dogs and 2 cats.. living surrounded by woods with a river running through our yard down a hill so we wouldn't flood. Having a little farm enough to just supply our family with food and give food away to people of need.. being soo well off that the money for the food wasn't needed.. have pastures that we can go horseback riding together.. just 2 horses one for each of us.. having a little boat to go fishing from with our older dog.. my man hates fishing he hates the taste of fish.. but he will cook me some fish.. dont need a huge house just enough for our needs.. two bathrooms for sure he takes like half hour poops.. and a 3 bedroom.. our room, his man cave, my own office for work.. two car garage id like to drive a CRV type of vehicle.. I know he wants a truck if money wasn't an issue.. we want to be in the country but no more than a half hour from town & his work... having lots of land with wild animals that become tame like being able to feed them from my hand.. kinda like an animal and veggie farm and wild life sanctuary not far from a river.. with a paved driveway and have no worries :)
So at my old apartment if he was taking a shit.. I had to pee I can't hold it at all its worse now then when I was a child.. I pop a squat in the tub I pee frequently but I drink liquids all day long.. he has 1 or 2 half hour poops a day.. or he pees were in their a lot at the same time if one just had to pee the other is pooping they pee in the tub.. but I moved in with him between the first and second wave so its not an issue anymore there's two bathrooms but I wouldn't want to deal with that again..
I want to know what a relationship feels like before I keep making guesses. To me right now it seems stressful as all hell tbh but I haven't heard of many symbiotic relationships. Most I'm around suck tbh but they'll play about like they so happy and in love and I hate that. Anyway for myself I know I just don't know what a perfect idea for my life could look like. But to take a guess for you here I'd say it would be a much sexier version of a modern family. I like the idea of a typical family on a ranch type a thing but I'd also want to have something going on that help others across the world. I'd want us all to be an honest light in other lives. I'd want a horse and a monkey as well as some exotic lizards or something. I'd want a place by a lake. Quite typical. But I'd also want some if the newest upgrades and such for gaming and the latest 46K OLED TV or whatever there is. at least so the few times I do game it's top of the line. I'd also push for a room built just for VR. But never would want any of it to take over my life. I'd also have a sex room. Maybe out of the house. Not saying we'd always be able to make it over to it but it's beneficial for sleep quality to separate the sex or masturbation from where you sleep so. It's an ideal and would be fun to build as well. Well now I'd also want a lot of hiding places for hidden sex and I guess to make hide n seek more fun as well. I don't know but if I get what my heart wants in all of life then that's how it'll be.
living in a custom built mansion, complete with arcade, content creation studio, grand library, fossil display room, cosplay clothing/armor/weapon display room, collectable figure/model kit room with a tabletop game setup, a wall to wall terrarium room, a bathhouse, a home theater, a large garage, an experiment room, a workshop, laundry room, a chef's kitchen with seed bank/walk in food storage, 10 bedrooms (each with their own bathroom and hald the bedrooms would be fantasy themed, the ither half sci-fi themed), electric heat, but with a fake fireplace in the bedrooms thats really just a tv inset to look like a fireplace behind glass. solar panels on roof with battery and generator backups. bullet proof windows with metal shutters.
Vehicles would be: Jurassic Park tour jeep, micheal keaton batmobile, inspector gadget style car, ninja turtles tech van, and a tron stylized dmc delorean but the lights are rainbow colored.
Large cats and various creepy crawlies as pets.
Living with a sterile wife who shares my hobbies/interests/views.
No kids.
I would make books, toys, music, and video games with my wife.
Yea i designed my home digitally and on paper back in HS. Its why i wanted to major in architectural drafting. And i update the cost to build every year
Cad software is pretty cheap now and youtube has lots of tuts, it's possible you might not need the major at this point in order to build your dream house.
So a handful of paleontologists are experimenting on chicken eggs to get them to grow tails, teeth, and clawed hands, I want one whenever thats done, but with a different bird as the starting point.
Mine would be me living a decent country with decent people, perhaps a tropical country. I would have a couple of real friends who would support me and have a good time with me. Be my own boss, my job would include writing, traveling and tasting food. I would have enough money to share with those in need. I also would help women and children in difficult situations. And maybe I would own a restaurant or a coffee shop.
What would my happily ever after consist of... Being with my wife and living my life as I have so far... going strong with no end in sight. I like your vision of your happily ever after... though I would suggest $150k or at least $80k (depending on the cost of living in your area) in order to be able to maintain a decent IRA for retirement purposes.
What is rather interesting in that respect... is that those who do live in a high cost of living location, do tend to make much more. However, the percent of your income that is available to save towards retirement represent a substantial difference in the amount. Then you just move to a location that has a lower cost of living and be that much more comfortable.
Yea i stopped sabing towards retirement long ago. Im just saving for things much sooner. people never know if they’ll love to see retirement. But i pray i do
If you wanted to have chauffer's and give $100+ to every homeless person.. You might as well be Bill Gates.. 😂😂.. Or better yet Elon Musk.. 😂.. But well, I would be married to a woman that looks like Zendaya but with more meat on her bones, and maybe 4 wonderful none hard headed non baybay kids. We would live in a modest and decently sized house. I would be making enough for my wife not to work and enjoy being at home with the kids and whatever else she wanted to do. I would maybe in some plays as a hobby, get into natural body building competitions or some fitness industry, learn how to do all types of things.
Of course.. I did say or whatever she wanted to do even if it was starting her own business.. But I do believe in order for a home to function well somebody has to be home more and not two parents working full time not able to raise and teach their kids properly.. 😅..
Yeah see that's what I wouldn't want to happen.. I want my kids to be fully mostly by their mother and not other people or places.. 😅😅.. Maybe until they got to High School..
Living very comfortably with the woman I love (who loves me just as much) in a nice home, not too big but not too small and easy to upkeep, with two good cars, and a doable comfy job that pays well. Maybe a kid? Not sure I want someone else in the world with my mental issues. But I'd adopt. Regardless, my life would just be comfy, and I could finally do some of the stuff I've wanted to do, like visit other countries or at least other parts of the country I live in, maybe donate or support good causes, and just in general feel good about being alive. A life where I can finally smile and say "I feel good about myself".
You are very kind to think of others and how you would help them. You described a pretty good scenario. Have a loving and healthy family, enough money to retire at a decent age, be in a position to help the less fortunate as well as family that may need it, a nice but modest home and be able to take a trip once in a while.
I would live somewhere with a waterfall and trail in my backyard and I would have at least 1-3 kids and a husband or professional nanny and I would work as an author, a psychologist, a musician, a hypnotherapist and a professional artist.
Working remotely, traveling the world, making enough money to live comfortably, having a wife (but no kids), and a big friend group, and maybe make some kind of difference in the world, politically speaking.
Sipping kombucha with my mans on Mafia Island while the little ones are running around the beach. But that’s when I’m 67, retired and watching my grand kids 😝
Well " Happily ever after" is something that happens in some movies, novels or in fairy tales.
In reality that sentence is not applicable as nothing is easy in life, one has to pay a price for everything (good or bad) and that means there will be good times and bad times
Mine would be happily living alone with a bunch of dogs and cats in a decent house. I get to write novels, movie scripts and video game plots for a living and enjoy my work.
Married to my love, building a beautiful big house that looks like a Moorish Andalusian Palace, have a big home library, learn how to paint like orientalist artists, reach the highest levels of religious piety.
There are a lot of other things I would love to have, but life is precious. Money doesn't do anything for you when you are old except pay for medical bills.
