Help this bug was in my bed what is it?

I was sleeping and woke up to this bug next to my pillow!

In my opinion that doesn't look like a bed bug. It looks like this.

In my experience they often spell like an apple.

However, they do look SIMILAR to a bed bug and it was on your bed. I would analyze the corpse thoroughly before doing something like burning my bed.

Looks like a stink bug. They are harmless, except they stink if you squish them.

If you see them inside your home, grab then with a piece of toilet paper and flush them.

In the US they are an invasive species and can do some damage to crops, but they won't hurt humans.

Uh... Burn your bed right the fuck now!!
That's a motherfucking bedbug right there.
They come when you have dirty habits like not washing your bedsheets or not making your bed.
Could also be that you brought it in from somewhere dirty.
Prepare to struggle for a long ass time.
Do you have a wooden bed? Look in the nooks and crannies. Look in the folds of your curtains. Look inside your pillows.
BURN EVERYTHING.

Lemme guess, hard shell, grayish brown in color, roughly 1/2" long by about 3/8" wide? Looking at its shape, I'd say it was a "stink" bug.

They're mostly harmless and rather annoying. If you crush them or when they're threatened, they give off an odor (that can be washed off). I've killed several hundred of them in my house. Usually, they're the worst in the fall as they try to find a way out of the cold by getting in your house.

Even though upside down... I think it's a bed bug. Especially cause the blood. If so there are probably many others... Get some tempo (fromranch supply or co-op), mix slightly stronger than directions spray whole house specially around under mattress and walls of room... They will crawl to ceiling to drop and land on you... I'd spray ceiling too.
