Yes, a couple of times. At 11 I shook hands with Richard Nixon. At 38 I almost ran over Dustin Hoffman with my bicycle when they decided to film a movie on my block and nobody thought to tell me. At 50 I was invited to a Christmas party as a "plus one" with my lady friend and had no idea who any of the people where were but they ended up including a very famous rock band with their families as well as the governor, a senator and other government officials and a relatively famous character actor and two female professional athletes. I don't pay much attention to celebrities for the most part so I had no idea who any of them were and after my friend told me while we were driving home that she thought I was very calm considering all the celebrities at the party and I hadn't a clue what she was talking about. I actually had to look up all the names she mentioned to find out who they all were. I'm glad I didn't know. turns out they were just regular people but I'd have been nervous if I'd known any were famous.

Yeah, I used to work in music security and executive protection for three years. Most celebrities suck though, especially in the music industry.

No, I haven't. There are no famous people where I live, at least not famous like the ones in the USA or in the UK.

A couple but a few that only thought they were. Was disappointed meeting the actor that played radar on mash. He was taller and heavier than he looked on mash. The main thing was how nice he seemed all I can say is it was an act

Yep. I meet famous people on a regular basis as part of my job.

I work for a charity. Setting up events etc. Not going to mention any names though.

Half of the Major League Umpires. Tom Wopat and Gil Gerald. Some Major League Baseball players. Walt Terrell , some others. I have talked to many ex Major League Baseball players on Facebook.
