Is there something bad on this site?

I have seen a few criticisms recently about the moderating team. Having been an Ubermod in the past, I defended them as best as I could. However, I am beginning to think these allegations are well founded. I have seen two questions hidden that in no way break the "member post" rule. NOTE. No names are mentioned here, so NOT a member post. Not asking why they were hidden, so not breaking the "why" rule. I guess this will still get hidden!

If you saw those questions they were not hidden, they were reported. If they were hidden you couldn't see them.
Perhaps they are analyzing the posts to see if they break the rules or not.
But yeah, there are some bad things about this site namely trolls, racists, white supremacists, sexists etc...

They were there one minute and then hidden by the time I had written an opinion. I have had enough experience as an Ubermod over the years to know they didn't break any rules. There is really no way of knowing if they were reinstated or not.

I know what you mean, that happened to me a couple of times. It's strange and sometimes it's unfair. I've seen questions that clearly were breaking the rules, reported them but they weren't removed.

What really gets me is the total lack of feedback from Admin. People like @honeybee, @RedRain and @dangerDoge really cared about this site. This new Admin team seems totally disinterested.

Well I understand you but I can't comment on that. I would just say that GAG is different.

It is different... worse. I really can't see myself flogging back to Master, and trying to get Mod status again. It just isn't worth my time being here. It would have been different if I could have somehow reclaimed @juicyjessie. That, it seems, has always been impossible.

I have more issues with admins than moderators. Could merely be they’re just not fully aware of what constitutes a member post.

Yes. I have seen many questions get removed after being up a long time, and other questions that are almost the exact same stay up forever. GAG claims to protect the underage by prohibiting them from participating in "adult" conversations, but allows many of them to participate in extreme sexual content, and not just asking for educational info, but gals several years under age (admittedly by their own registered age) bragging about their own sexual exploits. Many on here are registered as over age, yet often mention that they are really way under age in their conversations, but continue to remain and participate in any conversations.
What parts of one's body can be exposed on here changes. A picture that used to be okay become forbidden, and another that was forbidden becomes okay.
Many on her brag about participating in incest and their posts are left up. So I asked a poll question about how many do that, and it was taken down because "it glorified incest". It was simply a how many question. It was removed and posts that really glorified incest were allowed to stay.
GAG really cannot seem to get a steady and fair treatment going.

Well this site is actually very partial. I know that from experience. Even though once i have reported a question which contained my private profile screenshot, they only shifted it to another topic but that Asker had a big boob pic so that must be it.
The same way when i asked a question with another user's racist comment with her name hidden obviously, it was removed (i expected that).
I have also seen certain users (female) saying that no mods will remove her questions even if reported.
Anyway this site has become like a porn site. It's filled with attention seeking whores and racists and misogynists.
One thing i have noticed is that the misogynistic questioning stay while the misandrist ones get removed.

I mean I've had 2 of my posts removed recently and an account suspended for spamming/trolling, although I've never asked the same question again.. What's worse is the admins never answer back. At least reddit mods and admins always answer back.. Also, in Quora you can appeal a decision, if your post gets removed... Here, you don't even get a notification

I do believe the Administrators don't play kosher when it comes to taking a certain post down so I believe it's not so much the Mods but the Administrators who are doing this we need a better system on here?

Yahoo Answers was the same way. Perfectly legit questions and answers were reported all the time by trolls and what not. It really hurt that site.

I usually appeal questionable moderations to the admins. And they have generally sided with me. I think some people don't know that you can appeal moderators decisions.
