Car advice needed, help?

Preventative measures trying to be taken here. I have 2 theories and want to know which or if both seem plausible. My acceleration in my car is suffering and I have a hunch it's my clutch. I'm curious if it could be as simple as a worn-out clutch return spring? If it is this, could a low clutch point play a factor in that, or could my car just so happen to have a low clutch point on it? I'm pretty sure the spring is bad, but I want to know if this being replaced could fix the low clutch point or if I'm going to need to go as far as replacing the disk or pressure plate?
