In reality would harsh rejections and then a false accusation make someone a killer?

This is from the movie Valentine 2001:

Then he grows up to be the cupid killer; killing right on Valentine's Day; the day that his life was ruined as a kid. As seen in the video, not only was he harshly rejected (except Kate, the only nice girl) but he got framed from sexual assault by the last girl. He got beaten up badly, expelled from school, labelled as a pervert by all his classmates, send to reform school and not heard from every again.
Would a trauma like that be enough to turn someone into a psychopathic killer? In the end he ended up framing the last woman he killed (the one that framed him when they were kids), making everyone believe she kill all those people.

Harsh rejections, yes, a lot of people kill their partners who broke up with/rejected them.

False sexual assault accusations now, I don't know of any cases where that happened, most of the cases where a guy was falsely accused he ended up being depressed or living like a shell, or just moved on somehow.

Yeah. Guys have been psychologically broken for far less.

The last girl could've said something like ''I was just joking with him, we're not friends" than doing something that horrible like a false sexual assault accusation. It would be mean but at least the beating wouldn't happened and he wouldn't go to reforma school.
Or the other option would be simply telling the off and day "yeah I'm feeling hot, I do like him" and then kiss again in front of them.
