A guy found out I like him and he started jumping up and down and he was really happy and my friend said she was jealous about how much he likes me. Why would she say this?

Before I read your reply to someone below stating that she is very negative about your relationship, I would've said maybe she was simply envious of your crush's excited reaction to finding out you like him and wished her crush would react the same, but after reading, it seems she is either the very competitive type who doesn't want you to have anything she doesn't have and perhaps doesn't like not being the center of attention (some girls want to be the center of every man's attention, whether they are really into him or not), or maybe she is frustrated with her own dating life and bitter that you've found someone and she hasn't (assuming she is single; if not, maybe she is extremely unhappy with her own relationship and jealous of the happiness you have in yours). Perhaps she is jealous that some of your attention that she was formerly getting will now be going to him.
