Is my friend jealous because the guy likes me and not her?

A guy friend always asked my best friend for the three of us to eat dinner. My best friend later realized that the guy friend was asking her so he could eat with me because I would not see him alone.

My friend said that after realizing that he likes me, she did not want to plan any dinners for the three of us to eat because his intentions were wrong. She said she didn't like how he was pretending to be her friend so he could see me.

She said she doesn't want to eat dinner just the three of us because she feels left out and because the guy used her to get to me.

Then she started talking all this crap about this guy and how he is not good enough for me.

If I were her, I would be happy a friend found a possibly boyfriend.

She was really mad.. she even said she was jealous.

BUT was she jealous and mad that a guy liked me or mad because she like him too but he likes me instead?

Do you think she will be a blocking stone between the guy and me if our relationship grows?

I'm nice and can't lie (innocent) and my friend's personality is very sly and like a b*tch if I say it in bad terms. But I try to see the good sides of her.

I'm just disappointed she didn't want the best of me and the guy.

What should I do?

She always asks me what He and I talked about and how is acts towards me and I do tell her because I can't hide things.

What should I do if I don't want to lose my friend and the guy?

At the moment your friend is probably feeling very angry and used knowing that someone who she thought was her friend was just using her to get to you. Whether she's jealous that he likes you or because she likes him and he likes you, I'm unable to say, you two must talk about this. If she likes the guy then that could be a problem, but she must be the one to tell you that in order for something to be worked out. Or it could just be a friendly rivalry and she's wondering why he just likes you and not her. However soon enough once she cools down she might see things from a different point of view, and let you two be together but as of right now she seems quite bitter, therefore don't take what she says too seriously. And as for her potentially being the blocking stone in your potential relationship, if she does like the guy it could be a possibility, because even if she lets you two be together despite the fact that she's the third wheeler in the relationship and that the guy she maybe likes, likes you, will always be something she probably won't forget and neither would you. And trust me, been there done that, and I've been in your position, and the friend.. or ex-friend as I should call her now.. she never really let go of the fact that I got the guy that she and I both liked.
