Is my friend trying to make me jealous? Or is he not into me like that anymore?

I know him from my former masters program. We were friends, but I truly didn’t think he was into me like that. Not until I invited my class to my birthday party, and he was one of the only people that came. He got me a huge bouquet of pink roses. And turns out, he added for two dozen more roses to be put in the tattoo bouquet. He spent well over $100 on my gift. Very shortly after, I asked him if he wanted to work on a homework assignment together. He said yes, but that he was really busy. And we weren’t able to ultimately.

A few months went by, and he and I were still friends. One night, we’re playing a truth or dare Card game with our friends. In this game, he bought up his ex-girlfriend. He said that he mistreated her in the past, that he felt really badly about it. And that he still thinks that she’s beautiful. Also, he admitted that he was attracted to one of his friends siblings, but that she was way too young for him. Also, he was very interested in talking to a mutual friend of ours rather than me.

Look, I get the world doesn’t revolve around me. That being said, I know that’s a Scorpio, you don’t give someone flowers unless you’re really into them. So I just want to know if in these past few months, he’s lost his attraction on me? Or is this his way of trying to get me jealous?

I don't think he's trying to make you jelous. That sort of thing is the product of female thinking (most of the time). Guys just don't think that way. It's not a plan a guy is ever likely to think will work.

I can't answer your question very well, because it doesn't have any detail about how he's interacted with YOU (aside from the roses thing. How were thing between you between then and now?)

What did you do? Did you just stay friends like usual, or did you flirt with him or anything once you realized he was into you?

This might be wrong (I'd need more details), but this sounds pretty simple. He is into you for who knows how long. He tries to make a fairly clear show of his interest with the roses.

Yea, it makes sense that he's thinking about other people. Is he still thinking about you that was too? I don't know. Maybe. Depends on how things have gone over the past few months.

And then When he's telling you about his relationships He feels that you can trust you a little bit. And telling you he was wrong which that's hard for a guy to do.
Usually guys trying to brag or make him self something there not..

So you need to hear what he saying that way you don't read anything into it. Maybe he's just a nice guy and wanted to get you something nice .. but if that's the case and you want something more. Then your Trust your questions have to be a lot better LO. L... it's OK to tell him how you feel.. or how he made you feel

I can’t read his mind but I would assume there is at least some attraction if you’re into him express it because you’re not the only one into him but also take things slow if he agrees. Going too fast can be a red flag so just remember that. As well as if he’s mistreated someone in the past and if the girls underage there would be really sketchy.

Maybe he did it as a gesture as a friend especially if he knew not a lot of people would come. I really just don’t know but you’re going to have to talk to him before he moves on if he’s attracted. If you’re rejected it will suck but you won’t be wasting your time on him anymore as well as have closure.

Lady you're both adults - either you want him, you want him for the short term, or shrug, you'll enjoy him as a hypothetical ring around your merry finger 🤞🏻 lol 💍 to enjoy for some or all your 20s at least ; you or him could both be very good to each other for whatever that means or better luck finding a better keeper or a better lover ❤️‍🩹👀 that's my views. When you think about it , really it all comes down to the " truth , dare " game , he could have been just completely bluntly honest..
So how seriously do you take that? He was the only one who came to the party 100 sheets on flowers? Wholly shit..
And why flowers? I know when I buy flowers I'm making a statement..
