Why do gay fathers tend to be much better parents than straight dads?

Despite being smaller in numbers, gay fathers tend to be much better parents to their adopted children compared to straight men who often abandon or abuse their children. Why is that?

They aren’t. That’s just a small cross section of gay men that really wanted kids and jumped through all the hoops to acquire them through adoption. You’re comparing apples to oranges. Go find a sample set of men/women couples with fertility issues that choose to adopt a child and see how their group compares to gay men. That would be a less bias comparison.

Either that or include all the gay men that randomly ass fucked some dude they met at a gay bar or something like that and see how many of them actually raised a child with that guy to adulthood who became a responsible adult. My guess is the number is insignificantly small.

A sweeping insult to the millions of successful heterosexual father's out there then, most of which are working hard to provide for their family.
And since the marital stats are better for heterosexual than homosexual, I can assume there are a lot of single parent homosexual families out there.

I wouldn’t say they are better, but they are just as good! We live next door to 2 dads and they are great parents from what I have witnessed!

One reason could be because they made an effort to adapt. But I don’t know if that’s a fair question. I watched the video and it’s not a common reaction.

Because they know the importance of needing stable male figures in a child's life. It matters not a parents sexual preference, a parent is a parent.
