What items have you saved from your childhood?

Yesterday my mom found my little childhood-box. She was sooo proud of herself lmao. I couldn't tell her that I did this and she wanted to throw them all away.

Anyways in there is my babyborn from 1998, it's the only toy that my father allowed me to keep.
I have two barbie dolls from when I was 7, one princess and the other is a Michael Jackson doll (from 1995 lol) that my fav cousin gifted me, before he started ignoring me when I was 8, we never talked again.
Also an old ass mp3 player from 1999 that I got from him too.. yes it still works.

Other then that, I have one stuffed animal still in my room. My fav uncle gave it to me when I was 6.

I never got rid of any of my toys (except ny Barbie Jeep). I still have my board games, hot wheelz cars and race tracks, fisher price little peoples house, Barbie dolls/cars/houses, legos, marble set, barbie stove/cash register/food, game consoles, vhs collection, card games, skateboards, bicycles, and baby dolls/strollers/clothes. I will forever keep my toys in nice buckets and keep them stored in my closet. They're not going anywhere and i’ll likely play with em again some day when I build a house. haven't played with em since middle school lol. And Sorry but im not passing my toys on to my kids 🤣

Well...

I still have the soft rubber bear that squeaks my parents gave me when I was a baby which is now in my son's room.

I still have all of our old video game systems going back to the atari and coleco.

I have a pair of baby shoes, a blanket, various photos, and this book my mom kept of my achievements until I was about 5 and then she gave up I guess.

My mom had saved my teddy bear. Somehow my wife wound up with it. Maybe my sister gave it to her when she was cleaning out the house after my parents were both gone.
When she showed it to me, I was surprised. It was much smaller than I had remembered it. LOL Almost all of the fur was warn off and there was just brown fabric remaining. I remember how an eye would come off occasionally and, over the years, my mom would replace them with buttons from her collection.
I slept with Teddy for many years, from the time I was an infant.

The only other thing I have are various dinosaur collections.

Im not sure exactly what I have now , because Im overseas , and I was born in Australia. But , being a LOT older ( sadly #sob ) , Im encourage all to keep track of some items , as they are utterly terrific memories.
I have some pictures , I know that , and some things from my daughters , when they were at school , we all now span the globe , Denmark , Thailand , and Queensland Australia. Keep all you can..

I don’t have a lot of stuff from my childhood. I’ve moved a lot. Dealt with a lot of abuse. I think I only have 1 thing, which is a baby doll I got when I was about 8? It came in a set of twins so I’m not sure what happened to the other but I’m never getting rid of her.

Almost all of my childhood things have gotten lost, thrown out, or given to others. I do have two bowling trophies from when I was 10, and a spelling bee medal from 8th grade. I also have a few carpenter's tools that my grandfather (who was a carpenter) used, handed down to me via my father.

If you have kids one day, I recommend saving their baby clothes. Your children will adore you for it when they get older. My mom did not throw out my baby clothes until I was around 10 years old because that is when she stopped loving me.

Start Trek ship models I built. Two Lego ships. Some RC cars. A pile of comic books. Old issues of Apple A+ insider. A collectors set of matches from the Soviet Union. A bunch of silver bars and various odds and ends.

Almost all of my toys are in a trunk in my cellar. It’s probably mostly He-Man and GI Joe figurines. And lots of trading cards: football, baseball, basketball, hockey, I collected them all.
