I was a child when my stepfather used to watch things like this often. (He was British. Gives you a clue. They made Benny Hill, Monty Python, etc.)
I've seen this at least three times.
I remember the day he came home from the video store and I said, "Ooh, I want to watch it too." "Uh, no, it's Flesh Gordon. It's not the same."
The world has changed, that's for sure. The stuff some people get offended about now is nothing compared to what my generation grew up with. But you have to laugh. And how about Queen? Wow that's quite a song chorus.

The main differences between a nuclear and any other explosion are its scale and the fact it gives out radiation.
