Depends which side if the pond I'm on.

In the US, a rubber is a condom. In the UK, a rubber is an eraser. I learned that many years ago when I was working on a project in London with some British colleagues and they told me to go ask the secretary for a rubber. We had a good laugh together when I explained to them that's not something I would do in the US.
