I wanted too at 17 but ended up doing it at 19 by joining the military. Have been moved out since then, did 10 years in the military then flipped that experience to a well paying technical field on the civilian side. I love my parents but didn't want to be around them 24/7 and wanted to be able to make my own rules and learn from my own mistakes.

I left at 18 and went off to boot camp that was like 1000 miles away and now I'm stationed over 2000 miles away.
At the age of 24 (was starting out in the Working world after looking after the home expenses and getting two university degrees so my resources were limited before the age of 24). After 24 I gathered enough to find my own place and still look after my parents.

I left home at age 16 and oved 350 miles away.
When I was 19. I got my first student apartment. Still living here. I did move back home at 20 and then moved out again at 21.
19 but I kept coming back every few years and staying for months at a time. Up until my mom died when I was 33. But by that time I really didn't stay with her hardly at all and hiding for the last 2 or 3 years. I had heroin problems so she's lucky I wasn't there all the time
17 in my case. I went to uni out of state on a full scholarship. Then I supported myself with a part-time job lifting heavy bed frames up and down the stairs at a hotel and some money I had saved. Later in my sophomore year, I got a teaching job to teach CS 101/102 and also serve as a research assistant to the head of the CS department, so I no longer needed the hotel job at that point.
I left home, never to return, at 17.

When did I technically "move out"? I don't think I did. All my crap is still there in a shed and closet.I must’ve been 18 at the time I moved out. But I just broke up with my partner this week, after 5 1/2 years so I’ll probably be moving back there for awhile, while I try sort out a place to live in the midst of a housing crisis

three days before my 18th birthday.
I had spent to much money on my girlfriend (who was cheating on me) and was in a bad mood. My stepdad and I got into an argument and he hit me so I hit him back and I was out on the street.Still live with them. I plan to move out when I finish college and get my career started. By then I will have enough saved up to afford an apartment or rent a house 😊 Maybe sooner

It's still my home though. At age 21 when I finally got a room at a dorm like a year after I started university.
19 if we count military service, 20 otherwise. I simply moved out as soon as I had an opportunity.
18, would have left earlier if I hadn't been doing my A levels.
I moved out at 18 nd came back and then moved out again at 21 and moved back a year or so before I got married at 25.
16/17 I moved out and never went Back to live there.
I went back home for 2 years after college and then moved across the country when I was 23
I was 17 when I went to boarding school, moved back in at 18 and then put again at 19
I was eighteen. However after my mom passed away I went back to help my dad out for a year when I was twenty-three. I couldn't wait to leave again.
