Anonymity on the internet will bring out people's worst traits, and sometimes, not even with anonymity. I don't act like this though, that's why I almost never use Anonymous Mode on this site, aside from my question today about men dating lesbians, and I don't think GAG should even have Anonymous Mode.

Character is who you are even when no one is watching. And in general people of strong/ good character are so few.
we did not see as much before internet because there was no way to hide. There were real consequences and reputation risk unlike on the internet. Double edged sword!

Keyboard warriors. They would never say anything like that to anyone's face. They live miserable lives in their Mom's basement. They have no friends and feed off of negativity. Instead of trying to better themselves or change they try to bring others down to their petty level. Just ignore them and move on. Don't feed into their bs. I think it's the impersonal nature of the internet. There are so abrasive people out there but im. sure like 80 to 90% of the horrible things people say wouldn't be said if they were in person, especially if they interacted with that person on a regular basis.

It's just easy saying horrible things to a computer/phone screen.
