Everyone is more “pathetic” on the internet. It lets people speak past all the expectations placed on them. Women in particular have higher expectations of men, so yeah they are going to seem pathetic, but that’s just real life. That’s your chance to accept the as real people and not the fakeness they are forced to conform to irl.
