What is wrong with people on the Internet?

A few years ago, a fella joined this site, and deleted his account the same day.

This was his question:

"If you could fly, would you like it to be telekinetic like Superman, or would you like wings?'

I swear to God, 90% of the rocket scientists on this site told him that humans can't fly. My jaw dropped. I couldn't believe it.

This is inspired by a woman who just asked if you would rather come across a lion in the wilderness, or a female serial killer in a parking lot.

Some moronic woman told her that both events were not likely to happen. OMF.

A five year old could answer either question, but for some reason, adults can not.. At least on this site, adults are not able to comprehend hypothetical questions. I find this sad. Is it aluminum cookware?

I know, it can be quite frustrating to ask a question for fun to have some buzzkill ruin the question trying to respond with logic, it seems some people don't have the ability to think with creativity and can only think inside the box smh
