It seems weird as to why females would call your boyfriend dad, because I don’t think no guy would ever call his girlfriend/wife mummy, or mom, so I’m curious to know why girls do it
Why do females call there boyfriend/husband daddy, papi etc?
I have had lovers who call me daddy, and I like it. I don't see it as being their biological father, or as an incest kink (though it could be). It's more that "daddy" represents a strong, loving, person that they can surrender themselves to unconditionally. Even the fact that the word "daddy" is the more childish/informal usage, rather than "dad" or "father", denotes the level of vulnerability. She feels safe. It's her way of saying I'm her hero.
My grandmother and grandfather on my father's side used to address each other as "dad" and "mom". When I was a kid, I didn't see it as a romantic gesture so much as it made sense because they had 8 kids, and the kids called them "mom" and "dad", so they were just falling in line with what everyone was calling them. "Go ask mom", or "Go help dad".
As for "daddy issues", I think >50% of people seem to have these, regardless of gender. It's no secret people tend to have a hard time with one or both of their parents, so "mommy issues" and "daddy issues" are really common. It's just more of a meme with girls and their daddies because it got sexualized along with everything in our culture.
It’s a term of endearment. It’s equivalent of her saying, “I love that you love me and attentive to my needs in your provision for us.” No one I know asks for it-it’s one of those things that slip out… Walking through mall awaiting elevator, steps against putting head on chest, “daddy”. -initially figured she was just happy about grabbing my money clip off my person without me objecting… But no.-became her thing and loves to do it around my parents or when all the hens are gathered and cackling at the house… Must be the “yes mam, princess 👸🏻 “ response she gets.
I don’t know, guys always ask me to say that, so I can’t imagine TOO many girls just do it (maybe Papi, but that’s a Hispanic culture thing) its the “daddy” thing that seems, odd to me. Maybe next time a guy asks me to call him daddy, ill just get all excited and say sumtin’ like “yes! I am so happy you brought that up, I’d love it if you called me Mommy” see how excited he is to call out oh mommy during sex?
I have NO idea, I was under the impression that it was something that guys asked us to do. But if girls are simple volunteering, then I have no freaking idea! I like the idea of when a guy says call me daddy during sex, just tell him to call you mommy, see how sexy that is for HIM!
My Fiancèe will call me Dadda, but that's only when our 4 year old son is around. By calling each other Mamma or Dadda, clearly it's something a parent does.
When it comes to a relationship though, I've never understood it. I'm not sure if they think it's some cute nickname, a term of endearment or maybe their partner reminds them of their Dad. I've heard of women that are drawn to men who have similar qualities as their Dads do.
Because woman are different from men. And a mom to a guy is not sexual at all because we don't like to be dominated, or submissivated.. so calling your girl mommy is jus weird and has no good effect. But since girls are weak and submissive. It makes sense they'd like to call daddy because they like to be dominated and a father figure is usually a strict basterd who rules your life, so you can see the link of a girl who likes to be dominated to call her lover daddy. Like a owner. But mummy can fuck off cos men don't want an owner/ parent figure to rule them, we like to do our own thing and be free... It's all the female Vs male psychology bro, it's no surprise to me
It has very little to do with the woman. Its about the man. Women in general call a man daddy when he exhibits behaviors of a dad either their own or the one they wish they had. Generally maturity, responsibility, leadership, confidence. I say this as a man who lots of girls have called me daddy, in fact pretty much all of them without exception.
Because men ask to be called it. Real question is why do men like it? Lol. I always decline whenever asked to call them that as i literally refer to my father as "daddy". Gross to me.
i call my male friend "daddy" sometimes. its because "daddy" is often referred to as a father. someone that takes care of you and protects you. Thats why. girls bascialy call them daddy because they see their boyfriends/husband as their "protector"
guess it's a domination thing. they associate "dad" with a competent and dominant man. that's what they want. for me, it also sounds a bit like daddy issues xD but that's probably not so much on their mind.
doesn't females represent all animals male and female? Where women would only represent human female. I like to use word female to represent opposite gender of male.
