My accent is default American accent at this point. People assume I’m from California despite the fact I never been there. I’m from NYC, the New York accent only comes out if I’m upset or excited
Yea the NY and Cali ones sound nun alike to me haha
They don’t lol, I don’t really have an accent because I lived in other places besides New York. However people automatically assume I’m from Cali and I’m like how is that possible
Omg i was secretly hoping you’d send this 🙏 I definitely dont get Cali. You sound very proper like Carlton in Fresh Prince. Its cool tho!
Haha I appreciate it. I try to be because I’m always in work mode but I definitely code switch
I heard slight Philly meets Brit too.
🤣🤣 that’s crazy, I’ve never heard that before. What about you
I totally didn’t expect that accent ! It definitely has the country sound to it, it’s dope !
Lmao
Thanks for mho
Anytime and very nice voice :)
Thanks ! I’m not used to being complimented for my voice lol. Your voice is very welcoming
Haha Thank you
Western Canadian, which isn't as stereotypical as Eastern Canadian accents.
I'd rather like a Spanish accent, since I love hearing Giancarlo Esposito's voice.
I didn't even realize Canadians sound that different from most americans. Giancarlos voice is mighty nice but it missed the sefuctiveness that antonio banderas has
*seductiveness
What celeb do you sound similar to
Lol can you hear it?
I’m southern lol. But how an insupposed to pronounce celeb? Haha
Hahaha 🙈
I tried to give 5 older movies a try today and at this rate i’m clearing my dvr so quick. They took too long to get interestig lol. It was Caged, Overboard, Bunuel in the Labrynth, The Devils Own and Game of Death. Now im gonna try The Equalizer, Wolf of Wallstreet, Big Trouble in Little China, Seven Years in Tebet, Legends of the Fall, Yes Man, and The Foreigner (Steven Seagal) if i dont fall asleep haha
I was sorta “busy” when i was supposed to watch it years ago 😂
He always makes me mad in his movies so I don't know if i’ll like it 😂 I used to love John Q but he was so mean. And ugh he annoyed me in Great Debaters and Training Day. My fave movies by him are Out of Time, Flight, Fallen and Heart Condition but it felt good to see him being nice in A Preachers Wife
Yea i liked Ethan in that but rarely in other stuff. I started Man on Fire as a kid but never got to finish. I’d rewatch but i already know dakota ass will annoy me 😂 by the way cable played Man on Fire yesterday but my dvr was full lol. Damn Wolf of Wallstreet taking up space with 4 hours of recording time 😂 I also saw Deja Vu but didn't care for it. Remember the Titans was decent
DVR is great tho. Its just i have like 300+ shows and movies on there since 2020 😂 i usually keep them on there until i get around to watch them or buy their dvd. I have over 1,000 dvds in my collection and gotta find room for more so i haven't bought them yet haha
Yea im OcD when it comes to my collections so i organize them alphabetically at least twice a year. Plus i have to make room for the new additions and i have to make sure each column has an even number of dvds 😂 I always had dvds and stuff but i didn't truly start collecting until 2017.
It was a hectic process but i have it neat
All the cd music and blu ray discs in alphabetical order on one shelf. Movies A-I on another shelf. Movies J-Z on another shelf along with all the game console discs. And then all the tv series bundles on the bottom shelf
I did that for my music cds. Each genre is in alphabetical order but split into stack of hiphop, pop, r&b, country, soul, oldies, 80s, rock etc
Very much so. I have over 800 dvds (tv shows included) and over 300 music cds and about 1200 all together. Maybe 1500 if you include vhs and videogames
Hahaha i like that nickname already 🤣 maybe The Multimedia Monarch 😂 But i do love your love for movies though. Why not music too?
Are you an 80s baby?
Lol its all good haha
And whys that haha

Lol who told you your accent was slight my girl? Yo ass is countryyy. But it's so stinkin cute.
You already know I already think I'm from London sooo 😂😂😂. I break out in British accents all throughout the day. My littles think I have magic voice powers.
I am originally from Boston but, living in the Confederacy, I broke my accent and sound generic middle class midwestern white with occasional Boston Irish lapses. If I were living in total immersion, I could sound British in a couple of months. But I would like to have an accent like Lambert Wilson, the Merovingian in The Matrix.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/FNZJneLEsGMhttps://www.youtube.com/embed/iXe2nBqfzaMMy Grandpere on my mother's side sounded a bit like this.
What do you mean you could sound British hahaha
I’ve a Geordie Accent (north east England, Newcastle)
https://www.youtube.com/embed/a55iAwMXylohttps://www.youtube.com/embed/h2zJG2QCnEwTypical Geordie girl.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/Yu9aeVhJEcwWhere as some like @harleigh90 have really English accents, dead posh like.
@ChrisMaster69 🤣🤣🤣 Posh! Everyone is going to think I speak like the queen now! 🤣🤣
@Harleigh90 you could raise the dead
@ChrisMaster69 🤣 Thanks? 🙈
@Harleigh90 well that and makes me melt…
Like a candle
@ChrisMaster69 Ohh! 5 times wasn't it? 🤭
@Harleigh90 🥴🥴
I would say that my accent is a mix between Angola (my country) and Portugal (the country where I live). However, sometimes one is stronger than the other depending on who I'm talking to.
When I'm speaking English I believe I have a "neutral" accent. I love Spanish accents, especially Colombian and Cuban, wish I had one of them.
I love the Portuguese, Colombian and Spanish accent
Definitely Brazilian Portuguese cause thats what my ex was 😂
But at the same time, he was half japanese so im not sure if his accent was fully brazilian portuguese haha
He was born in Brazil. His mom is half brazilian, half Portuguese. His dad is Japanese
His dad moved from Japan to Brazil to be with his mom. He was coming from Brazil to USA to be with me
I don't know but he whispered naughty shit in portuguese and it turned me on 😂
I think I ended up having a neutral accent because of working in a multicultural/ multinational environment of coworkers during my life in the gulf/middle East.
The various projects I worked on, had to undergo training for Australian and American accents, I do understand British accent easily but have never mastered speaking in it.
Oooo thats hot
I have an Indian English accent. Unlike other people, who would rather have a British or an American accent, I don't know, to sound cool or something, I would always prefer my own accent as I am comfortable in it and mainly because other people also understand it.
So I see no reason in wanting to change it.
Indian English has always sounded British to me
Yes it somewhat does!
The problem is, the English language is in between British and American English. So some people have British accent while some people will have American accent.
Computers here are having US English as language, not British English or something similar, that also impacts in our pronunciations. I use 'color' and not 'colour'. 'color' is American I think, since it is in programming languages.
Being from Western Pennsylvania US I was told I have a mix of many accents but who knows I like to hear accents I find them amazing... I heard this young girl on TV in labor she had a southern draw and she was screaming out wow it was amazing and a turn on she was like 20 years old LMFAO oh my me bad
Hahaha
@DizzyDesii Hahahaha!!!
I've Indian accent, and I am totally good with it.
But if I had a chance to learn additional first I would go for English accent used by Germans like I have this German colleague, I totally love his accent. Other than that I would go for the received pronounciation (although not the posh British accent).
A lot of indian accents sound British to me
Eh, really? From what I understand my accent sounds a little British cause I've watched a lot of British content 😂😂
I'm Australian born and raised and so are my parents. Grandparents and Great-grandparents are Australian, British, German and Irish. So very Aussie girl here. I am deeply self-conscious of my voice though. I do think the Aussie accent is nice in general but my favourite accent is probably Canadian.
So since childhood my accent used to be how we heard here in Pakistan and it is same in India too... but now its either that sometimes or bec of watchin yt channels from multiple countries it has become mixed like white people from USA type of accent, black people from England, white people from Uk its really like whatever... and i dont got any favourite accent to have
Ooo nice
My accent is Swedish and although several foreign girls have claimed it's "sexy sounding" I always thought it sounded derpy, which is why when speaking English I perform a neat and posh Royal Chamber English. An accent all but died down in Britain due to diminished prominence of high class society. An ex of mine when hearing me speak described me as sounding as an aristocratic vampire.
Oooo a vampire is sexy
I have a nondescript American accent (I'm European) because I'm a pretty international person. Never really thought about spoken accent, but I certainly prefer British English (proper English) in written form, so perhaps I would choose that so it fits.
Oh i seee
My accent is way too mixed at this point. I'm Dutch, growing up with both British and American influences, got an English certificate from Cambridge, lived in the UK for 3 years, then moved to Canada where I've been for 2 years.
When I lived in London, UK, people knew I wasn't from around there, but they did think I was from the UK somewhere.
But now I live in French Canada, so all they know is that my French sucks 😁
Goodness gracious haha
I have a British (London) accent. There are quite a fee variations even within London but think the girl version of Prince Harry with a light cockney twang.
Oh wow didn't know you were Brit
I've an Icelandic accent when speaking Danish, Danish accent when speaking Icelandic and a mixed one when speaking English.
I'd just prefer my accent to stay consistent. 😅 I'm mostly fond of my Icelandic accent & would like to keep that one.
I bet its nice
Weird. It's got too many languages and affects mixed into it. It has a weird timbre to it and is distinct. It isn't noticeably from any one place due to living in different places and travelling extensively.
Even cooler
That's what people say. It's obvious I am from North America but that's about it.
I have a strong deep southern accent, as for the second maybe a British accent since I'm really into British history
Nice! Harry potter once had me hooked on it
Americaaaabritish voice? Listen, it's a long story and one I tell no one because how tf past me let that shi happen?
Full British. Just to fully trick people.
Hahaha
I have a weird mix of mostly my Danish accent coming through mixed with whatever native accent I've recently been exposed to. My Scottish accent is crap, but I can't help being influenced by certain pronunciations.
Oh yes i do enjoy the danish accent
I'm British with my accent having developed from merging mum's Nottinghamshire and my dad's Dorset (like Sam in LOTR) accents. I'd prefer to be a broader Westcountry accent if I had the choice as that's where I feel most at home
Aww thats cute
Fresh Coast!!! 🐺🐺🐺 think we talk similar in Seattle Portland the Bay LA San Diego but iono maybe there is a PNW accent I’m not aware of
I like the way people sound from NYC and down South, Midwest sounds a little funny to me tho?
Whats pnw? And all the midwesterners i know sound like theyre from the south lmao. I hate NY accents unless the guys hispanic then its hot
Pacific North West I’m from rainy Seattle ☔️ haha thinking more Iowa and Wisconsin rather than Missouri Kansas, but I’m not we’ll traveled 😞You are from the South you mind sharing what state? Have family in FL and NC. I do like NYC sound tho like BIG, Pun, Camron, Prodigy, Pop Smoke, Chinx many others I like
Omg yes i like Pop Smoke, JLo, Ja Rule type NY accents. And im from MS
Mines weird. It's primarily a down east, but flecked with accents from pidgin and other languages. :/ hard to explain
What is pidgin lol
Damn i learn something new every day
I used to have a really bad "valley girl" accent.
I'm 1,000x's better now.
I think I'd rather have an accent from like Tennessee or something. I think they're super cute.
Born and raised in California. Everyone else has an accent, not me. 🤣🤣🤣
I know a lot of cali folks with accents but dang i wonder why you dont have one. Or maybe you just dont realize it haha
English is my first language but i can hear the accent lol. And i know i dont speak it properly 😂 Soon as i graduated college in 2017, i shifted to complete slang
I have a Northern English accent though I have softened it so I can be understood by those I work with when I'm overseas, but I have a bad habit of picking up the accent of English speakers if I am in one place for more than a couple of weeks.
Omg same! I talk to clients from around the world and catch myself talking like the Brits on occasion haha
My mother was an actress and I was taught diction as a child. So I have been told that my accept sounds sophisticated or perhaps educated. Its obviously America but doesn't sound regional
Ahhh so you sound like the guys who walk around with the golf shorts and sweaters tied around their neck lol
I'm from Southern California, so you can probably guess what my accent might sound like. 😂
I don't know if I'd prefer another accent, but I do think it would be cool if I had a Russian accent.
I still dont know the difference in north or south cali accents just based off voice but i def know a cali accent haha
Lol where is Fargo located? Ireland?
I don't feel that I have any accent, but I have been told that I have an extremely strong American accent.
That's fine with me.
Strong as in, a little twaaang?
I've been told I've got a cowboy/southern accent and one girl in particular loves my voice a looooot.
I've only ever been complimented on it so I think I'm pretty happy with what I got.
Yes you do have a southern accent for sureee
I do have a very "neutral" accent for both Spanish and English rather than an specific "regional" accent
Like Enrique Iglesias or stronger like Antonio Banderas?
I could do both of their accents... but that would be acting, lol
they actually have Spaniard accents and they are from different regions in Spain... so it could be a Castillian accent for Enrique but Andalusian accent for Banderas
and our accents over here in Latin America are also different... you have Mexican, Colombian, Venezuela, Caribbean, Argentinian, Peruvian, Chilean and a few more... lol
so mine goes neutral... but sometimes can get more Northern Mexico of an accent
So you're like luis guzman
I don't know who he is or how he is... lol
He finds his way into damn near every action drama film lmao
lmao... I've seen him in comedy and he always sounds Puerto Rican... which is a very different Spanish and completely different from main land Spanish
I have a mild southern accent and I think I’m okay with it, I don’t know if I would want a different one 😂
I have the Long Island accent but I'd like to have a southern accent. I'm still happy with my accent though.
I have a southern accent but wasn't born here and lived away for a long time. What I'm getting at is it only sounds southern to someone that isn't. Some around here say I don't quite talk like them. Who knows?
Haha yepp thats usually how it works
I have a British and a Canadian one.
I don't know if I'd like to switch
Oh wow never wouldve guessed you were a Queen
I don't have one. I'd rather have a Great Lakes type (Wisconsin or Chicago), or maybe Northeast or British.
I think I have a Midwestern accent. I'd like a southern accent, or a German accent.
German accent is soft and sexy when they speak English. But when they speak german it sounds hard and like theyre spitting everywhere
Hah well I can't speak German, but I guess I'd have to learn it if I got the accent.
i was born and raised in philly, the accent is strong in this one , we say wooder not water lol
I love the philly accent hah
Midwesterner, Australian is a nice choice. I'll go with that as well
Yessssbut i dont really know the different accents of Australia. Just the common stereotypical ones
I don't know the difference either but I can definitely tell when they're from Australia
I've lived so many places that I think I've developed a custom accent. I'd much rather have a slight southern drawl.
I Usually have normal English accent. Although, I tend to change some words into British accent without realizing so. I always get fixed for it.
Wow, i have an eastern American accent, not New York or Philly but the kind of generic American. I always thought Australian was cool. Like the accent I have though
Philly is sexy tho lol
New Zealand and I’m happy with my accent. I like it better than Australian/American accents.
@petitedollbabee yeah the Kiwi accent is great, although a lot I’ve met are from the South.
I don’t think I have any accent at all but I’d love to have a British accent. They’re so cute
I can't remember if you do
I don't have much of a accent since I live in the Midwest but I think a southern accent was kind of one Iike to have.
Yea its hot
Mine would be similar to Russian bc my country and Russia share similar native language, so the accent is almost the same, with minor differences.
Oooo nice
For me personally, on occasion. I like the hearing German men speak English. Im not big in hearing the French speak English, kinda sounds like theyre spitting everywhere. Italian is okay. Spain/Spanish is a yesss. Not crazy about the other European country accents. But overall, i prefer American and Australian
I live in a non-accent region. People with southern accents say we sound “northern” and northerners say we sound “southern”.
Hahahaha
I'm gonna leave that one up to the imagination lol. If someone wants to know what I sound like then they can just talk to me.
Your woman will have to put in serious work to get anything out of you 😂
@DizzyDesii I know. 🙃
I used to have a South Indian accent but trained myself out of it and now have a neutral accent.
Oh wow
i have a southern accent but i would like a indian accent
Oooo wasn't expecting that. But i do find it cute and they sound so giddy
i just think it sounds really different and would be fun
Southern English because my family is from Bristol but I want to talk like a Texan because it's more charming and less pikey. Easiest way to get American school kids to make fun of you is talking English instead of American
Nahh we fangirl over English accents
Yorkshire accents maybe but my southern accent sounds too boring and generic
I have Eastern European accent.
Maybe Irish or Scottish accent would be good, not sure which specifically.
Or a New York accent.
I like all kinds of accents, so it would be hard to pick one.
Boston accents for example kinda creep me out lmao
I have a faint Southern accent and wish I had a British or Australian accent.
Yessss australian
I have a Long Island accent, would be interesting having a British accent
Whats long island sound like? What celeb?
Well Alec Baldwin and all his brothers are from the next town over from me in Long Island but I’m not sure if they even sound like a Long Islander anymore, Eddie Murphy , Howard Stern , Billy Joel, Pat Benatar and Jerry Seinfeld are all from around here
Ok jerry seinfield set the tone 😂
Yeah maybe but we don’t all sound like him lol but it’s amazing when I think about how many celebrities are from here
I don't know what my accent sounds like. I'd take an Australian accent.
Yesss
When I speak in English I try to have USA accent but I think I'm 50% there. And I always try to speak in USA accent.
Where are you from
Ohhh i see
I have a southern accent and I don’t really care which accent I have so I’m fine with it.
I'm happy with what the guys down south call a Canadian accent. LOL
mine is an indian accent i just adore the British accent
i have an indian accent. would rather have American accent because it sounds nice
