Can I still sue this person even though he’s fixing my car?

This mechanic I went to forgot to close my hood tight and when I left my hood flew up and cracked my windshield and bent my hood… He fixed the windshield but the hood is still bent and he said it’ll take 3 weeks which I know is probably true. he’s been very rude to me and when one of his workers were trying to tie my hood he shouted at them and then let them help eventually… LIke i could’ve sued him from the start and now that’s he cursed me out and is being rude i’m going to sue him so bad LOL he made me cry. I’m just afraid the judge will say oh he’s fixing it so that’s good, especially since i’m not injured. I will get an attorney soon too & record him next time he’s rude to a customer because I didn’t say anything mean to him.

thought about this and i imagined judge judy saying were you injured & is his fixing it so lol it’s whatever i hope he learns a lesson somehow

The people that sold me my scooter neglected to fully tighten one of the front break caliper bolts. It came off 24 miles in, when I was doing 45 mpg, with 30lbs of groceries under the seat, in 107 degree heat, 5 miles from home. My elderly mum had just come out of the hospital too, only popped out quickly for basics. My point of details is if it hits the fan it usually really hits the fan. If I didn’t have experience riding shooting between cars and finally getting the rear break to stop the bike in the middle of a busy intersection wouldn’t have been the happy ending.

It sucks in your case the guy had a bad attitude about the damage he caused.

In my case the lawyer said he could have helped me if I had been hurt or if the shop didn’t take the bike back and fix the problem.

If he is fixing it then I don't think you can sue, if he refused to fix it then that's a sue, you can't sue someone for being rude either, mostly if you live in the United States, we have thing thing called freedom of speech that is what gives so much liberty to our country, you'll be wasting your time, just let him fix your car and you'll never have to see him again

You shouldn't sue because it would cost more than what you got fucked out of. It would probably be small claims court in which the defendant could just not show up.
