What is something you do or say, that is a good indicator that something is really wrong?

I think it's going to seem hard to tell for most people in person (I'm reputable for being very humorous and always cheerful) and it's hard for me to even tell. But what I noticed when something is really wrong with me, like after the loss of a loved one, is that my behavior becomes erratic.

I might get so cranky over something really stupid and small, or become very passionate about some political issue, or something like that. They're short little bouts and I might be cheerful and humorous again an hour later, but I have more of those little things that upset and annoy me when something is wrong.

Trying harder to make people laugh, stop communicating as much at all, stop participating in things I like, actively push people away and finally warn a very select few that I'm drowning to indicate any suicidal thoughts.
