How long to stay silent?

How much time: minutes, hours, days, months or years you can stay silent without talking to people?

At home, I can stay silent all day - often do on my off days and when alone home. I can't do my job without communicating though - so a couple of days.

By choice probably 6 hours if I was getting paid and didn't have to explain myself then probably a few days or a week if I'm really getting into the introvert life

You mean you can really stay years without talking to people at all except if you have to when buying something or asked at work?

I think I would need to speak to someone a little before I start talking to the wall.

Well that means you can’t really stop talking to people for years. As human beings we need to talk and interact with others. May be staying away from people for two months can be the maximum per one year, when we’re trying to take care of ourselves and check on what we did and where we are and how we shall keep going on.

Until I've books, internet and digital devices, I can stay silent maybe more than a month without or maybe around 2 months maybe.. not more than 2 months..

Silence is part of my job. I help young girls and women escape Islam. A careless word and their husband's or fathers might find them. All because they are trapped in a bad marriage or don't want to be forced into a marriage by their family to their cousin.

Through Islam women got their full rights, but unfortunately in so called Islamic countries most people don’t understand Islam and they just act according to what people see not to what Allaah the almighty is saying.
Especially about marriage, Allaah the almighty ordered us not to force anyone into marriage (whether male or female) they need to have the will for it and they need to accept the spouse willingly, if one of them doesn’t accept the other or reject their request for marriage, this marriage needs to be canceled. As well Allaah the almighty demands from us men to never promise a girl secretly about marriage but it should be official by talking to her parents and his parents so that they understand their sincere intention, as well so as to not lock the girl’s chance to get married when she wants by keeping her waiting for him!

(2:235) There is no blame upon you for that to which you [indirectly] allude concerning a proposal to women or for what you conceal within yourselves. Allāh knows that you will have them in mind. But do not promise them secretly except for saying a proper saying. And do not determine to undertake a marriage contract until the decreed period[93] reaches its end. And know that Allāh knows what is within yourselves, so beware of Him. And know that Allāh is Forgiving and Forbearing.

(4:25) And whoever among you cannot [find] the means to marry free, believing women, then [he may marry] from those whom your right hands possess of believing slave girls. And Allāh is most knowing about your faith. You [believers] are of one another. So marry them with the permission of their people and give them their due compensation [i. e., mahr] according to what is acceptable. [They should be] chaste, neither [of] those who commit unlawful intercourse randomly nor those who take [secret] lovers. But once they are sheltered in marriage, if they should commit adultery, then for them is half the punishment for free [unmarried] women. This [allowance] is for him among you who fears affliction [i. e., sin], but to be patient is better for you. And Allāh is Forgiving and Merciful.

(24:33) But let them who find not [the means for] marriage abstain [from sexual relations] until Allāh enriches them from His bounty. And those who seek a contract [for eventual emancipation] from among whom your right hands possess[994] - then make a contract with them if you know there is within them goodness and give them from the wealth of Allāh which He has given you. And do not compel your slave girls to prostitution, if they desire chastity, to seek [thereby] the temporary interests of worldly life. And if someone should compel them, then indeed, Allāh is [to them], after their compulsion, Forgiving and Merciful.
And this is a description of how women used to be treated before Islam:

(16:58) And when one of them is informed of [the birth of] a female, his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief. (59) He hides himself from the people because of the ill of which he has been informed. Should he keep it in humiliation or bury it in the ground? Unquestionably, evil is what they decide.

And here’s the description of whom we shouldn’t and those we could marry to:

(4:23) Prohibited to you [for marriage] are your mothers, your daughters, your sisters, your father's sisters, your mother's sisters, your brother's daughters, your sister's daughters, your [milk] mothers who nursed you, your sisters through nursing, your wives' mothers, and your step-daughters under your guardianship [born] of your wives unto whom you have gone in. But if you have not gone in unto them, there is no sin upon you. And [also prohibited are] the wives of your sons who are from your [own] loins, and that you take [in marriage] two sisters simultaneously, except for what has already occurred.[176] Indeed, Allāh is ever Forgiving and Merciful.

Answering the question in point, Dr. Muzammil H. Siddiqi, former President of the Islamic Society of North America, states:

“Marriages between first cousins are allowed in Islam. In surat an-Nisa’ (4:22-24), Allah mentioned the women who are forbidden for marriage and then He said, “… Lawful to you are all beyond those mentioned, so that you may seek them with your wealth in honest wedlock…” In surat al-Ahzab (33:50), Allah mentioned to the Prophet that he may marry the daughters of his uncles and aunts from the father’s side or the mother’s side. It is the consensus of the jurists that this permission was not only for the Prophet, but it is also a permission for other believers. Muslims have practiced marriages between first cousins in all countries since the time of the Prophet.

“There is no objection whatsoever in the Islamic religion for a man to marry any of his relatives except those forbidden for marriage whom Allah mentioned in surat an-Nisaa’ (4: 23) Thus, when Allah mentioned for us the relatives to whom marriage is forbidden, we then come to know that there is no objection for the remainder of the family relations.
