People in Hollywood have been "canceled" for far less. Like having opinions! This pussy smacked a guy half his size in front of millions of people, refused to apologize, refused to leave the awards show after the police was called on him, then made it all about him when he actually won his award.

He was not sorry for what he did! Not that he has to be. I don't believe in or respect Cancel Culture, but this wasn't Cancel Culture; it was literally Simple Assault. That's what he should've got charged on. Lucky for him, Chris Rock was an old friend, but what kind of friend to Chris would try to embarrass him on live television? We all know Will wouldn't have done this to a guy as bug as Uncle Phil, though!

One thing I DO have a problem with though, is how inconsistent Hollywood are with its fake morals. Amber Heard didn't have any of this happen to her when she 100% deserved as much or more. Kevin Spacey didn't have anything happen to him either UNTIL he tried to play the Gay Card to get out of it. And Jessie Smollett? He pretty much got a free pass by Hollywood cause he broke the law while trying to smear Trump supporters.

But if Will doesn't leave Jada NOW, after all of this, then I think we'll be hearing about his obituary by the 2023 Oscars.

i sure hope that the shit show he delivered at the oscars has consequences for him.

i don't feel bad for him losing out on deals, cause the man has enough money to never have to worry about anything anymore.

i think the slap was not really about Chris Rocks joke. thos joke wasn't so offensive that it warranted a slap. i mean alopecia isn't a deadly disease. his wife won't die from it. it's just loss of hair. so making fun of that is as legitimate as making fun of a balding man, which regularly happens and nobody is hit for that. i don't consider this a "good" joke but it wasn't below the belt by any stretch.

i think this slap was more just the tip of the ice berg of personal problems showing that Will has to fix. So i can have some empathy for him but i still don't think this was ok and i think it's appropriate that he gets negative consequences for it.

He has enough money to never need to work again, what he has right now most people will never earn in their life time... so not sure I'd call that devastated. He is a good actor if you ask me, but I do not follow any 'personal' celebrities lives, just what I see on screen and there is some real terrible actors out there that people seem to love. I hope they don't replace him with some shitty ones, but they probably will.

Will Smith already announced that he was very wrong for what he did to Chris Rock and there's no doubt in my mind that he's devastated but I believe that he will bounce back again and its not to late for him to redeem himself as well as changing. According to my predictions as well as my opinion, I will give it about four years from now (or less) until he bounce back. If Chris Brown can overcome the incident with Rhianna so can Will.

I have a CD in my car I've been listening to for 3 years with Will Smith on it talking about self-discipline so it is all for sad to see my mentor basically fall like this. Unfortunately he is. If you look into his childhood trauma, family life, and marriage, it all makes sense. While it certainly doesn't excuse him for slapping Chris Rock, it does make us sympathize with him. Jada broke Will Smith. Jada turned a pure, friendly, highly respected actor (who loved her so much that he cried over her on live tv) into a sad frustrated man who is receiving no help whatsoever. I really hate Jada because of what's happened. She is a really terrible person.
