Yes, but probably not as much less as many others. People too often idolize celebrities to the extent that they forget that they’re only human. Humans make mistakes. We ALL make mistakes. Will Smith hits people because of words that hurt his feelings. Is he the only one? Why the hypocritical intolerance?
So Ellen isn’t always the sweet and kind person she portrays herself to be on screen. Is anyone nice ALL the time? Why cancel her show? Imperfect people don’t deserve a livelihood? That’s the whole world. Should we all just shrivel up and die because at one point or another we made a poor choice and we’re all imperfect most of the time.
There’s also this new trend to label someone with the worst thing they’ve ever done, and only that. We don’t allow people to be flesh and blood humans who are sometimes good and sometimes bad. They’re always good, so that we can justify our admiration for and allegiance to them. Or they’re always bad so that we can justify our irrational disdain for them. And it IS irrational. Nobody, but NOBODY is just one thing and that kind of hate is the purest form of ignorance.
I will always love Will Smith but he have some serious major issues and I hope he seeking help because that very embarrassing plus uncomfortable on what he did. I will definitely pray for him and his family.

I figured he went insane or is on some medication.
I mean he's got money, fame, and all that, it was really weird that he lost his damn mind on national television over a GI Jane joke from Chris Rock.
Will smith was and will always be a superstar for me, we cannot eliminate a man's successful career and everything positive that he did just because he made a fault, he ain't perfect and chris rock wasn't that innocent!
Well he was OK with his wife f*cking his kid's friends so...
You mean the pussy slap? I went from little respect to no respect. What a straight up bitch.
I think it was a stupid douchebag thing to do. I still respect his talent, but it was a childish act.
He did something wrong but with good intentions. Let’s just move on.
Further proved he's little more than a low-class p. o. s.
Nah I really don't care either way.
It's only a big deal because white people overreact.
What molesting his son?
What did the Fresh Prince do?
I am proud of him defending his woman…
Are we talking about lolita express here?
I don't care what he did... I have my own life
