Depends what you want from them…

Do you want to hurt their ego? Ignore them.

Do you want them to do anything you want to? - Compliment them and make them feel they are truly special.

But before doing that, I want to remind you narcissistic people are the most insecure people of all, they are so insecure they had to create the grand image of themselves to survive in this world.

You ultimately cut them off. Although it's hard to do away with them all of a sudden, just like that, try to minimise the times when you meet them/ talk to them. Even when you are not, come off as busy. Let it continue for some time till they eventually learn that you're not feeding their ego anymore.

Just leaving them. Blocking on all the platforms. Block calls texts everything. And let your friends know what are you going through. This is important. Because they will help you come back to the normal life.

The right way is to ignore them. They are damaged and can't be repaired without a significant reality check which many can escape by a combination of basic luck and the supports of civilization.
