What in your opinion is the best way to deal with a narcissistic person you work with?

Back over 20 years ago, I did work with a guy like that. I mostly tried to stay out of his way. Unfortunately he was the manager, so I had to deal with him to some degree. He had no ability to handle conflict. He would purposely not resolve conflict just to be an ass. I liked the job otherwise so I stuck with it until he transferred to a different city. Beyond that, I think I would just have tried to tough it out.

Don’t fall for his bullshit, but keep in mind the most successful managers and supervisors tend to be narcissists
