Does anyone on here wear glasses?

If so, what is your prescription and do you have myopia, hyperopia, presbyopia, astigmatism, etc?

Astigmatism here since grade school. Debating about looking into whether or not I’m a candidate for lasik or one of the other corrective surgeries. I do a lot of outdoorsy and motorsports and glasses are not ideal.

That is true I guess. I have astigmatism too and it affects my eyesight from all distances.

I got bifocals last summer. I got the ones that don't have the lines. I think they were +2. I still don't wear them driving.

Me too! I have myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism. I'm glad someone with a similar experience to me responded. Do you have to wear them for pretty much everything? Cause I certainly do.

Lenses provide sharper vision, but they cause discomfort when left in the eye for a long time. Since the glasses are constantly out of focus, the vision becomes less clear, but it is more comfortable for long periods of use.

What do you experience like as in, how do you see things in terms of your astigmatism?

Objects become more blurry, as it causes the eye to tire more quickly.

Happily I am not yet experiencing senile presbyopia am I don't need reading glasses, and astigmatism is minimal.

No, I have a "monocular" prescription. The right eye is corrected for closer work, and the left for distance.
