Any advice on how to get your first place?

I'm 22 and have a 4 month old daughter. Right
now we stay with my family which is very helpful. I wanted to save up as much as I can and then come tax season I can see about finally moving out possibly. I have an idea on what to do and the steps to take but at the same time I'm still kind of lost.

What’s your monthly Income, Credit score, criminal background, and amount of rent you trying to pay?

Monthly on average is about 1,260
I’m about to start building my credit up (don’t have any currently)
No criminal background history
And I haven’t thought about the amount of rent I’m trying to pay yet

For me and in general for companies in my Market. Applications are 75.00. Income 3x rent. Credit 600 and up. Nothing from landlords. My 1/1.5 with WD are 1200 and they fight for them….2 beds 1600.

Yeah I know with my current income I’m be pushing it. I made 10.50/hr and work 9 hrs 4 days a week (they lowered my hours after I had the baby) so being odd every two weeks my checks haven’t been high at all

Exactly 🤦🏽‍♀️ and the crazy part is I’m a supervisor/office assistant at a store, but listed as part time
