What's better to live in: saving up for an house or an apartment?

An apartment is great if you want coziness and have somebody to share it with, houses require more time and sacrifice to take care of cause you have to remove weeds and clear the drive way and do repairs on the roof etc…

I would invest in an house. I've always wanted to live in a house, I guess it has more advantages than living in an apartment.
