Why do people think I'm shorter in pics than I actually am in real life?

I recently posted pics on this forum and people thought I'm short. In real life, I don't have this problem, most people guess my height correctly or think I'm taller than I am

If they perceive you as short, it's generally a comparison to who or what is around you, or the photo could be taken from above your head, or it could be the clothing you are wearing. Change these option, and see if the results differ.
