Too many Mom's are spending their time and attention on their cellphones and computers and not spending time with their babies or children. This is what I would say is neglect and a baby cannot thrive without spending time with their mother or caregiver.

That's not true at all. I've met some very sweet men who's mother's weren't there for them emotionally (sometimes due to substance abuse, sometimes simply due to being poor and focused on making it through another day). And there are plenty of emotionally available mothers in the west? How can you possibly put together such a vast amount of people into one category? That's not even a feasible option in so many ways.

To ease your mind I can confirm without a doubt we are extremely close and 100% love each other and he's definitely not lacking in the emotional department because we sit and talk about his feelings all the time.
