How did you celebrate moving out?

Me and my roomate threw a small party with friends and drank vodka soda and wine all night. It wasn't the biggest celebration but I still had fun!

Congrats on moving to your own place. I can't remember exactly what happened with me, but I had parties for the entire 1st week and then phoned in sick from work.

I remember using the excuse "the phone hadn't been installed in the new place yet and there were several things to fix" but most of that though was clearing up after everyone.. It's always been so much of a haze if I'm being honest..
Enjoy it while it lasts.. Before long you'll turn around and wonder where the time went...

Oh I forgot to add. I was 18 when I moved in on my own, and with the exception of the first few weeks where the only food I had in was a bottle of tomato ketchup and many MANY cans of beer, it was the making of me.

I haven't done so and not really planning to do so soon because it's utterly unaffordable around here like I'd have to clone myself, have neither half sleep and screw over my customers to have a whisper of a chance of affording it

Celebrate moving out? I mean, I just... move out.
Back then, found a nice place, placed a rent... had 3 trips back and forth, had my friends help me with things...

And we ate wings after, my treat, as a thank you.

I ordered 6 different meals from the local Chinese restaurant, I worked out in the gym for 3 hours to hit every muscle, and I made like 15 Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
