Stink bug, imported to the USA to help with farming and they spread like wildfire. Most of them are harmless but they are an invasive species and if you see one then more are probably coming. I forget if they breed at the beginning or end of the summer but know that when the weather changes, if you haven't gotten rid of them, your house is about to smell like shit.
They're hard to get rid of, some of them fly. I think there's some that bite and I'm a little less sure but I also think some of them can cause moth like damage. It's been a very long time since I've had to deal with these.
Looks like a baby armadillo but it's not but it's tough whatever it is that's going to have me dreaming ebgbs tonight but look at the outer skin on it it looks like it's a rhinoceros it looks like it's tough I couldn't even sleep in that bed did you catch it if you catch it take a picture of it and take send the picture to you University they'll tell you exactly what it is
This is a Brown Marmorated Stink Bug. Adults reach the size of about a dime. Although they do have a similar shape and coloring to bed bugs, bed bugs are much smaller. It is an invasive bug that is a serious pest of fruit, vegetable, and other crops. It also becomes a nuisance pest of homes as it is attracted to the outside of houses on warm fall days in search of protected, overwintering sites and can enter houses in large numbers.
Looks just like a regular stink bug. Completely harmless.

It's a stink bug. Don't squish it. Flush it down the toilet. They move slowly so they are easy to catch.
If you squish them they stink. I've also hear that it attracts more stink bugs, but I don't know if that's true.
They can be very harmful to crops but they won't hurt anything around the house.
Brown Marmorated stink bug

They are not harmful to people, animals, or plants.
I hope one crawls in your mouth while you're sleeping
@sirderpsalot123 ewwwww
Bugs like those are the reason why I pay a gardener two times annually to flood my garden with Neonicotinoids like Mospilan that are like nuclear weapons against insects. Otherwise I couldn't eat a cherry, strawberry or apricot from my trees and bushes because those bugs destroy every fruit. Living in eco environment doesn't work somehow in real life.
It sucks your blood while you sleep. You have very likely a nest somewhere in your flat
@freyared Not sure why someone laughed at that.. You are perfectly correct
Actually that is a Brown Marmorated Stink Bug, they dont drink blood, they eat plants
That is a bed bug... I went on a course many years ago and we were warned, if you see one then you need to call the exterminators in.
Just one usually means an infestation.
bed bugs are a lot smaller than that is a Brown Marmorated Stink Bug
Bedbugs...

Don't squish it, it will stain and stink, that's why it's called a stink bug, totally harmless.
Depends how many you see from them, remove your bed sheet and look under your bed properly, if you see more than one call pest control soon as possible because bed bugs are so bad, you can't ride off them easily.
It’s not a bed bug so that’s a good thing at least. I’ve seen that type of bug before and it was harmless but I don’t know the actual name of it.
It’s just a brown stinkbug. Nothing to be afraid of.
That’s my mate Burt... where you find him?

Still, don’t hurt him. He is after all, very much a living thing ❤️
