+1 yI know exactly what you mean... I remember years ago the first time I felt like that. was when the whole class having to stand up, because someone had stolen something from a teacher's jacket.
They wouldn't let anyone sit down until someone confessed, and I'm thinking the whole time I hope nobody thinks it is me. Nobody ever did confess to it but I remember shaking. I couldn't have been more than 10. I don't get it any more but back then I probably would of failed a lie detector test I was shaking so much!13 Reply- +1 y
hmmm relatable

I realise that doesn't explain why, so let me see if I can think back as to why I felt that way. I was frightened of the consequences of being falsely accused. Maybe that could well be the reason
- +1 y
I wouldn't of been able to prove my innocence.. so yes.. that was almost certainly it..

+1 yMany of us are raised into feeling guilt for no good reason.
It's worth deprogramming from that, and I've found for myseld a professional psychologist was my best bet in overcoming that.10 Reply
+1 yIt is because, when it is a situation that they can, some lying evil accuses you of something and since it is plausible, others believe the liar which makes you feel guilty.

She got raised in a home where she could get into trouble for things she didn't even do so she grew up having to be 'sorry' for lots of stuff. People are drawn into being in similar situations as when they were younger even when they don't realize it. Although if you do realize it you can change easier.

i know
I can relate since I lived a big part of my life feeling guilty or in defect for others guilts. That’s because you’re probably an insecure person, and your insecurity reflects on the way you perceive the reality around you, that makes you think you’re the one pointed out when there are issues or problems. That’s because you care too much of the other’s judice.
I suggest you to ignore the voices in your head saying you’re guilty, and think “what have I done in this situation? Nothing bad. It’s other one’a fault so they’re the one to be blamed or to have to take responsibility”. You can convince yourself about being right.00 Reply- 318 opinions shared on Other topic.
+1 yBecause western politicians and western media, particularly on the left, are trading on guilt about things that very few people alive today, unless they had their experience outside the west, have experience in, and are riding that guilt into public office in lieu of substantive policy issues or actual legislative accomplishment. It’s easier to hold a group down by making them feel guilty about what a minuscule fraction of their ancestors did than it is to win a battle of wits or produce actual results, so their media allies run a 24/7 guilt trip that is having unjustifiable mental health consequences to people who had nothing to do with the issue at hand unless they are being racially profiled.

+1 yIt's because you prolly haven't been fucked over badly before. There's a lot of people who get screwed or who fall short on luck and that's something we just gotta accept. I used to be just like you a people pleaser and I'm still learning to say fuck it. It is what it is.

+1 yThat happens to me too. Maybe you are just a good person and feel like maybe you could have done something differently or done something or not done something. When in reality you don't know that and even if so you aren't a psychic
10 ReplyIt can happen, it probably shows your a person who cares

It's not right or wrong. There has to be a reason why you do that. For me it's from my mother and older sister that told me everything was my fault no matter what it was or even if I wasn't there!
- +1 y
@Mynameisbobby oh for real?
