Is it normal to feel so much guilt?

3 months ago, it was my father's b-day and me and mom wanted to take to his favorite fishing spot.

We were getting close to the destination and then just remembered to buy a couple things. I was stupidly connected with earplugs, listening to music, unaware of my surrounding. My father got me out of the way of a speeding van but he got struck. Luckily he only suffered a fractured knee and broken left arm but omg I feel so much guilt upon seeing him on the ground in a lot of pain. He's in his early 60's.

My father was screaming my name a couple times but I wasn't hearing so he did that. He had a knee replacement surgery and is still in physical therapy. I feel guilt. Is this normal?

Things would've been worse and if I had lost him, I would likely never forgive myself. I just still feel terrible. He's in therapy because of me.
