What are the Bravest Things, You've done/said?

Saved a neighbor lady from being raped.
She was being beaten when I intervened, and the attacker ran off.
If I caught the Son Of A Bitch I would have killed him.
you're a Hero in my eyes
About 30 years ago, I ran in a burning house and pulled two people out.
@exitseven he's a Hero in my eyes

You should ask this question in different contexts. Like bravest thing you did romantically, bravest thing I did heroically, bravest thing you did morally, etc.
When it comes to romance I was told in my youth i wasn’t “good with women”. However there is one thing I excelled at where many guys in their 20s fell short. I had the balls to approach them and ask for their number (and later ask on a date). In the last 15 years I have never not once chickened out on approaching a woman I liked if I had an opportunity to chat with her. That doesn’t mean it always went well or worked (of course there were bad experiences). But I got my foot in the door quite a bit.
There were even two times I met a random but attractive women at a social event/bar. I asked them both if they would like to make out and both said yes. I was kissing them 10 seconds after learning their name. Guys around me were either impressed, jealous or both.
I tracked down a girl that wanted nothing to do with me. I found out her name and then got her phone number. A couple of days later I called her out of the blue and asked her out.
And what did she say?
Married to each other?
@exitseven just checking. Well congrats man! Your gamble paid off big time. Just curious how long ago was this and what’s her age?
I just feel that nowadays this would be much more risky thanks to feminist bs. Also depending if there is an age gap or not (if she’s much younger) I’m not sure if it’s a great idea.
I just don’t see that method you did back then working out today.
@globetrotter22 okay- the whole story is that I met her at the beach where my family had a vacation house. She told me where she graduated from college but I could not get her name. The weekend was over and I figured I would never see her again. Then I got the idea that I could go to the college and get the yearbook and find her picture. So that is what I did. It was a big yearbook but perseverance paid off and I got her name. I knew the town where she lived so I went to the library in that town and got the local phone book. I was able to look up her phone number and actually I got the address too and did some recon. I drove by her hose and saw her car in the driveway so I knew I had the right place. It took me a couple of days to work up the nerve but I finally did it. She was not pleased but after I told her about the yearbook and stuff her opinion of me got a lot better.
I guess today people would call me a stalker.
@exitseven and you eventually got married.
The thing is that guys are being told to never even consider doing such behavior nowadays. But there is no mention of the happy endings of such pursuits.
@exitseven I wouldn't call you a stalker
@SandandWaves I sometimes think I am. I can find out just about anything about anyone.
@SandandWaves if this girl didn’t like him he would definitely be considered a stalker. I mean hats off for to him. His huge gamble paid off incredibly.
But the ugly truth is that the difference between a woman finding a guy cute, funny and romantic vs creepy, stalkerish and dangerous is if she finds him attractive or not (attractive vĂa both personality and looks).
I highly doubt the vast majority of would of gone for this nowadays. Sometimes this is for their protection but it is also to their detriment. These two got happily married for Pete sakes.
*vast majority of women would of gone for this.
I wrote a letter to a guy I was interested in. I knew he didn't feel the same way about me, but I felt that it was the right thing to do. Fortunately he had a positive reaction and I was able to move on without regrets.

I like the saying on the picture.
I don't know her
there is a quote from a movie, bounce..
it isn't brave, if you're not scared. I like that.
I was on a plane in first class and some soldiers boarded heading to Iraq. My feet were in the way and I swiveled my chair so they could get to economy.
And i bought the seat next to me…i could've jumped to that one. And put my feet up.
(Face slap)
I challenged a bully and threatened to bust his head through a wall, the harassment completely stopped after that. I was taller than him too.
I would have been good to have someone like you around, when I was in 8th grade
@SandandWaves Bullies are just a paper tiger. They rule through fear and intimidation, when you stop fearing them then that takes their power away.
I don't know why he stopped after months... but, before he stopped I reported it to the principal, found out from her that he is her grandson. I had only one way to get to my next class, and there he was waiting to do what he did with his two friends one on each side of him. Shoved me from behind and I somehow I flew across to the end of the hall walk way, knocking my air out. I guess I could have stopped going to school, it's just I wanted to learn. anyways... you're right.
This neighbor girl's dog almost got killed by my bigger dog and thank God I saved her little dog's life but the thing was when this girl was younger she would tease me when I got off of the school bus.
Bravest thing I’ve ever done? Trust a girl. Have you ever met someone that was “interested” in you and they were very persistent despite you not being interested? Then as soon as you show the tiniest bit of interest it’s like it was just a game
Stood up to a foreman on time when I was falsely accused of approving artwork (at that time I was a paste-up artist) that wasn't my job TO approve.
I don't know. I've saved a few lives and probably sacrificed a few things to help someone else in need.
