People. I only get addicted to people. Additions are subjective adverse effect of feeling the need to do something again by a compulsion whether we are self aware of it or not.
Examples can be from drugs to sugar. Sugar by the way is more addictive than cocaine but people don't realise it as they see that need for something with sugar in as normal. Often people in today's society will eat to much sugar leading to them actually feeling hungrier by result. Which then leads to over-eating and bam your unhealthy.
Addictions are sometimes very obvious or not at all. Some maybe addicted to be on their phone. Some maybe addicted to a pattern of sleep they like etc.
Flexibility and willing to change is the key out of addiction. However this is not me saying all addiction is bad.
Been addicted to your patterns isn't really gonna kill you unless those are things that will lol. But it does cause problems if you ever I don't know go on a boat but you cannot do such actions. Or something else.
Been addicted to something can happen to anything, it's all very subjective and to do with our perceptions. Which is why you may find more people say they cannot quite smoking because they are addicted meanwhile another person does it then shrugs stops one day. One person here is way more influenced by how society views that smoking is addictive. It's almost like one's tricking themselves.
