What kind of addiction did you have & have you recovered from it? If yes, how?

I've video games addiction, not very severe, I do work when I'm supposed to but then I don't do extra tasks like reading or learning new things or even some non-urgent tasks, instead I procrastinate and play video games.

Phone sex. I eventually got tired of getting guys off if i saw no future with them.
Soft porn. I moved on to hardcore which is less like a telenovela so i watched it less.
Soda. My eye medicine makes it taste weird now so i dont drink as much as b4.

I didn't cut any of them completely. I cut them down. Phone sex is just for whoever im looking to build a future with. Soft porn has been replaced by hardcore which i watch maybe twice every other a week. Soda is still like 2-3 cups a day lol but used to be more

As for my eye, its something to do with the pressure in my head thats affecting ear/eye or something. Something from last year

I go to the eye doc tomorrow for pics. I mean my eyes look normal but they said it was swelling behind the eye (in my head). But you can't see it unless you use their eye scope thing

i was not truly addicted to alcohol but by today's standards people would probably say that I had a problem. I did drink a lot.
I became unemployed so I gave up drinking because it was one less thing I had to spend money on and I was slowly unraveling and if I was drinking I would have unraveled that much faster. When I finished grad school and got another job I decided I didn't need it anymore.

I was addicted to entertainment in my teens up until age 20 where I did not want a normal life cause I find it to be too boring.

Yeah, music, tv shows, swimming pools, video games, computer games, and jolly ranchers.

I continued to follow the bible and one day I lost interest in superficial things.

Drugs, primarily nicotine and marijuana.
I am sober now, but once an addict, always an addict. I’m simply predisposed to have addiction.
Ironically, I stopped smoking weed by smoking nicotine, and I stopped smoking nicotine cold turkey.

I don’t recommend it, but if you do try it, try to lower the nicotine percentages slowly so you can ween off of it easier instead of cold turkey.
