Are you a low maintenance, medium maintenance, or high maintenance person? What makes you that way?

I am a relatively low maintenance person. I don't require much for entertainment. I am not a picky foodie and eating at inexpensive barbecue restaurants is okay with me. I drive a car that is 20 years old because it runs well and is dependable. My air conditioner konked out last week and I had no AC for a week. I didn't complain; I just kept the fans running and didn't wear much clothing when I was at home. I try to be self-sufficient and I am still fairly adaptable.

I'm low maintenance. I'm easy going and don't need someone to take care of me.
The only thing I "need" from a female partner is sex. Beyond that, I just treasure her love, friendship, companionship and partnership. We share responsibilities and work as a team. She doesn't have to be my mommy.

I'm into simple living. I care about comfort, not opulence. I don't want a showplace McMansion, flashy car, name-brand clothes, jewelry, or the latest "stuff". I couldn't care less about impressing anyone.

I'm pretty thrifty. If I have something like a car or appliance that works well, I prefer to stick with it. That isn't to say that I don't appreciate having nice stuff. I like well-made things that will last.

I do love good food.

I love beauty, like the colors we painted the rooms in our home and the nice objects and furniture we have accumulated over the years. I love the idyllic, natural setting of our rural home. And I love our well, solar electric, veggie garden, small orchard and infrastructure because I feel more secure being as self-sufficient as possible.

I like going places and doing things, but I care more about beauty, history and culture than modern amusements or opulence. For example, I'd much rather travel through rustic areas of the world than visit places like Las Vegas, Tokyo, Dubai or Disneyland.

I am a very low maintenance person and people have pointed that out before about me. I was taught to appreciate everything I have and it's in my nature to be basic or simple. There are still some consequences to having low standards of course.

Depends on if im with my partner or not.

If not, I fan be medium maintenance, because I want them to tell me about their day, send texts, etc. Not because I'm controlling, but because I personwlly put a lot of effort in my relationship and want then to do the same.

If we are together, I don't care as much. Just being near them means a lot. We can follow our own hobbies, maybe watch a movie, eat together but thats it. I don't neee them to cling all the time.

I have no friends or people coming to visit me, I hardly ever go out and I don't do a lot of exerting stuff so, I don't NEED that much maintenance. maybe, if I can ever get my drums up here and an have a bash a few times a week, I'll need more.

@FunkyMonkee I sure hope you can find a way to get your drums up there with you. Can't you find some volunteers from a church or program? Maybe you could rent a small U-Haul truck and do it that way. You gotta find a way man. You cannot just spend your life on top of a giant hilltop and not have visitors or anything else. Please try ok? ☮️

The reason.

I am very particular about many things, diet, exercises and also tolerating the behavioral aspects of a person. There are several deal breakers and things I will never accept and tolerate.

Hence I said I am in between medium and high maintenance.
