Gas pumps always out of receipt paper?

I buy gas at several different stations and only one never has receipt. I suppose most people don't care for a receipt, except the people that can write it off on their taxes. I assume the only way you can write it off is if you can show them the receipt on an audit?

Occasionally (it's rare) the pump at whatever gas station I'm at is out of receipt paper. If you need a receipt, you can always go inside, tell them your pump number, and they'll print you a receipt. Or, you can just take a picture of the numbers on the pump.

I'm a little over the top but I get a receipt, take pic, and use credit card..._I stay in the COSTCO System though so it is easier...

I mean it shows on the credit card statement but it can't tell if you bought gas or a case of beer.

That would make it easier for me though to look at a bunch of pictures vs combing through receipts.
