Funny you should ask. You see, I happened to be rambling to a friend of mine in my DM taking a trip down relationship-memory-lane. I kind of inadvertently answered this. I can copy-and-paste it for you... just maybe I'll do it through DM.

But the short answer, honestly is going to be: DON'T try and change things about yourself for a better chance at a life-long relationship. That isn't going to be what makes someone fall in Love with you.

It's going to be YOU (the kind of person you are).

So: Be a good person. Let people get to know you. Let people around you SEE what you're all about. Be yourself. Do not try and 'fix' yourself to improve your chances of a life-long relationship. It doesn't work that way. Be YOU; and DON"T change anything. 🙂

Once you start changing yourself for others you lose respect for yourself, it's one thing to change things that are toxic but it's completely different to change the way you are to please others, I like loyalty and kindness and support In a girl, those are my requirements, the rest are just bonuses

Listen, only change things for YOURSELF. Make sure you are happy as can be with yourself before you look for someone.
Also, asking people on the internet who you are not dating what they look for in a girl is a losing game.
Let's say you take my advise, and you change your ways. The guy you meet will want something else, and now you got to change again. Makes no sense, luv.

I tend to look for a sense of individuality, sense of humour, some level of confidence, an element of feisty which gives her that inner fire, also someone who I can trust, shows compassion and empathy towards others.

Don't change unless you have a severe bad habit that your partner points out. It is fine to improve for your own reasons, like wanting to get in better shape. But changing to make someone like you is never a good idea.
