To be honest no I don't wanna live in an apartment I'd rather live on nice big property right outside of town with lots of acres. I don't like apartments or cities.
I wouldn't mind staying in one for like a week though for like a vacation or something that would be ok but I wouldn't want to live in one full time.
Like I said above house in the country with a decent amount of acres right outside of town, closest neighbor being at minimum half a mile away. That'd be ideal for me. far away enough that I can have my space but close enough that I can quickly run into town if I want to.
Sounds horrible.
Why?
-You have to live in the same building as a bunch of other people, thus you share at least a floor with them.
-It's a bad place to be in a fire.
-You have to pay condo maintenance fees and special assessments.
-You have to listen to stupid rules by retarded people on the condo board that are on a power trip. They waste your money on all sort of frivolous shit, and then when something like your roof (being on the top floor) needs a repair, then there is no money in the reserves because they spent it on new bushes to hide something like a back alley dumpster that no one ever sees.
- You're way off the ground floor so you have to take long elevator rides to get home.
-You can't just open a door and let your dog go take a dump in the backyard or something, you have to get your shoes on, put them on a leash, ride the elevator to the floor with people getting on and off, then walk your dog in the city and pick shit up in a bag.
-You have no land, thus you can't easily be out in nature, you can't garden, etc.
-You have to deal with the noise of the city.
-You have to deal with noisy neighbors.
-You have to deal with city air pollution.
-You have to deal with city light pollution.
-You can't see the stars at night because they are drown out by the light bubble.
Do I really need to go on?
Yeah
-You have water bills.
-You have electric bills.
-You have to go all the way down to the ground floor to check if you have mail.
-People steal your online order packages when they don't fit in the box.
-You can't just walk out in your garden and pick some fresh perfectly ripe organic produce when you get the urge to cook something.
-Inner city crime.
Huh I didn't know people could steal your online packages in city.
Yeah no privacy too.
-Lack of privacy
-Interference with WiFi signals for internet access.
-High rates of getting sick due to elevator buttons, door handles, community mail boxes, etc.
-High chance of death during natural disasters. Earthquakes bad news... Hurricane winds are stronger at higher altitudes.
They do it all the time in cities...

Maybe they should send it to actual door than to mail boxes
That would be a better solution, but mailmen/package courier typically drop stuff at the community mail box in a condo/apartment. You can request that a package must have a signature for delivery, but if you are not down stairs when they show up it goes back to FedEx, UPS, DHS headquarters and then you have to drive across town to pick it up. Either that or you have to rent a private mailbox in a mailbox/pack and ship sort of store to accept packages for you and put them in the back storage room.
I do. Granted not anywhere near this luxurious. It's bigger than the house I grew up in which is nice. I do miss my garden but not all the work that came with tending to the front lawn and back garden. I don't have stairs which is such a relief with young kids. But yeah, Ivebeen obessesed with the idea of them or apartments with more than one level since I was about 11.
I'm grateful for any house I live in.
But my decision for a penthouse is a I don't know tbh.
Because I'm not one of those people that has to have this and wants to be fancy and be a show off
Tbh
I'm not one of those not saying people who want to live in a penthouse is like that.
But it just me personally

I’d rent an AirBnB for temporary stays but I wouldn’t want to own one myself. It sounds like it would be a headache to maintain unless you hire cleaning staff. Not to mention the huge monthly and yearly fees you’d have to pay to keep it. Besides, I want to travel the world and it’ll feel like a waste to have my empty penthouse just sitting there, racking up fees, while I’m traveling on the other side of the world.
I want to be as far away from the city as possible. I hate being in the city
So no penthouse living for me

This is my idea of living in heaven
Looks nice, but it's at the top of a usually VERY tall building (but of a nightmare when the lift packs in), the purchase price is fucking excessive and you still have to pay ground rent cause it's only leasehold. Also, cleaning the windows would be a never ending job.
Simples...
I'd rather chew my leg off. Give me a log cabin out in the woods any day. The log cabin in the woods is far more luxurious anyway. Who would want all the weird stuff in those pictures when they could have trees instead?
^This. Exactly this.
I wouldn’t be any happier in a penthouse than I would be in a normal sized house, just like when you go to a buffet, if your stomach is full, all the food you have in the restaurant is just a waste of eye space.
No because if you've ever been trapped in an elevator before, you learn to appreciate stairs.
And living in a penthouse would require too many steps on those stairs.
Personally no…
I would love a big piece of farm land to build my own home where I’ll have my family rather, not some ugly small house 😬
Hell no! The needless, gratuitous opulence and wretched waste of resources of those places. Yuck. 🤮 Definitely not for me.
It's fucking cold and exposed, like sleeping out in the street.
Basically it's street sleeping for rich people.
The view looks cool but it honestly does not look comfortable or cozy at all. And you have no lawn or driveway to play sports or hang out outside in.
Nah, I'm perfectly fine living here on my off grid in Colorado
You don’t live off the Grid
If you do not believe me then get on your phone settings and turn the settings where you are set to Unknown caller and then call the police And hang up they will be able to call you back and they can even Trace your unknown number and it’s location I know because cops have showed up to my place and they even called back but I didn’t answer the phone and Even though I had Unknown caller on which we all know Unknown caller cannot be called back they were able to call back
The government has security cameras cameras everywhere And They know where you Live
If Joe Biden and dr Fauci wanted to show up to where you live they could Just ask There Team where you live and if for some Rare reason they didn’t know where they would already have your phone number and they could have the CIA or the police track your current location and then they would go to where you are
You could say VPN but I suggest you to Do the same thing with the 911 call to find out whether they can track past the VPN and find your location
@EarthRealm FYI off-grid means "outside of electric and city-water etc. I didn't say I lived on a deserted island or in a Salt mine dude
You are using electricity ⚡️
you must Think I’m Stupid
@EarthRealm Not before, but you just proved you are so….
That’s Good 😊
Lol yes not the brightest bulp in the box. However it has been very cloudy here in Colorado the past week, so indeed our solar powered system has been very low. This morning seems very promising though. We do have a dual fuel generator as backup though
Although they look really nice, for me they're a bit too large. I don't need all that space.
It's not about the place, it's all about who you are living in it with
Good answer. 👍
No, I'd prefer living in a more normal house where I have a yard of my own.
No but my single story home will have the interior of one
Although it’s nice no thanks however if it was a penthouse by the beach maybe.
If it's like one of those in the picture, of course I would
Nice to visit or maybe have a vacation in a Penthouse, but I wouldn't want to live there.
I think a couple days would be fine for a vacation but I wanna face the ocean and don’t be too high up in the air
I want to live in a REAL house!! I'd LOVE to go back to living in MY house!!
You could not pay me enough to live in an apartment
Yes please.
I'm a city dweller. City at night amuses me.
I have no desire to live in a penthouse. I'm quite content living in a single family house with some distance between me and my neighbors
It wouldn't be my first choice but I wouldn't decline either.
Only if it was next to the water with a boat in the dock if not then don't want it, I will stay in my house besides its paid for
No. My family live in a mansion I prefer that. Imagine you left something important at the top, it’s annoying waiting for the elevator and would take ages. I would take a nice, small apartment any day
Nope, I wouldn’t even know what to do with a penthouse. It’s not me
I want a penthouse with airy outdoor entertainment areas too. A helipad would be a plus as well.
No, much to fancy and overrated for my taste.
I want a lot of land in the country
If it's bigger than my room why would I say no.
I like space outdoors😄, acreage
Maybe but it's not necessary.
Yes, as long as it was not on my dime.
Not unless it is a gift
Id like to stay in one for a bit.
i would probably fall out of the window
I would if I lived in a city and could afford to.
I feel like it'd be cool but at the same time not
I dont , if you want pents you can buy mine 😅
Women are superficial af lol
Yes, i would live in one of these.
Nah but I can't say it would not be nice too
Yes, but maybe not like these.
Probably.
Sounds nice, tbh
Yes who wouldn't
Sure
No..
I already do 😌
