Do you compose music? What emotions do you like to convey in your pieces?

I wanted to write this out of curiosity as I play piano and love to experiment with different ideas! My music tends to be more on the sad/romantic side of feelings, I like writing emotional pieces! What kinds of instruments do you guys play (if you do), and what emotions do you like to convey in your work? I'd love to know! ❤️

I am learning piano and violin simultaneously, violin i Tuesday, and piano on Wednesday. I am learning classical, now working on Shubert's Ave Maria. I cannot decide which is more beautiful, the violin solo or the piano accompaniment, and I find both VERY DIFFICULT, what with the alternating Triads on the G clef, and the left-hand single note really makes the piano portion really powerful. I learned the last two lines (last 8 measures) since that is the least difficult but find the beginning/middle section VERY tough for me to learn, what with the combination of #'s and 'flat', sometimes being played on the same Triad, and immediately moving back to 'natural' notes for the same notes.

That's really cool! I've always wanted to try the violin, and I love Ave Maria! I definitely find the violin solo prettiest personally, but they're both great! I also know which part you're talking about and it was tough for me as well when trying to learn it, I never really pulled through with it. Canon in D I learned around Christmas time for my family and it was really fun to learn! Thanks for sharing <3
