When was the last time you maxed out your credit card?

Never. I only have one credit card and I never use it for anything. It's only for emergencies and I have a decent enough cash cushion before I'd need to use a credit card. The credit card is for an absolute last resort, meaning my wife and I are both unemployed and we've burned through our cash funds and our checking and savings accounts.

Considering my combined credit limits are damn near my post-tax annual income... It's been a long, long time. I think the last time i nearly maxed a credit card was in college when my credit limit was still in the 4 digit range.

I never max it out cause my limit is 25,000 and I never spend more than 2,000 a month since my parents loan me money if I need more than that and my family does not charge me interest.
