To dog owners, how would you feel if your dog busted through one of your windows to attack a delivery person?

I don’t have doors like that for a reason lol, my dog is well trained and is generally friendly. But he has big barks and people are right to be nervous of him. 75lbs could do a lot of damage. Delivery people will typically leave the parcel on the steps of the deck if he’s out.


If my dog were to bust through a door and harm someone (which I can’t see happening but you never know) I would feel terrible and of course make sure the other person was okay; and depending on the extent of the damage seriously consider euthanizing him.

My dog would do that. We have a German Shepard named Canelo and he wasn't trained. He's only nice to other people he knew as a little puppy. Now he's about 2 1/2 years old. I mean, I guess it's nice to have a dog that protects u, but at the same time, we can't take him to public places often b/c he'll growl and bark at people! But he gets along w/my parrot Snoopy b/c he knew her as a puppy. That's kinda funny. I nvr saw a big dog and parrot as friends!

It would depend on the situation. Many years ago we had a Saint Bernard that got up on her I'm just laughing and tried to put her front legs on the top part of the door or the window was. Some reason the window couldn't withstand a force of a Saint Bernard. She wasn't mean. She just barked and wanted to see who was there.

My dog is non-violent to the extreme, and she loves people. If she thought something was so wrong that she busted through a window to attack someone, I’d probably be siding with her.

My dog has came close to doing so lol. My mailbox used to be attached to the front door and my dog would go sick on the door whenever the mailbox showed up

I used to have small dogs and they could never do that or reach that high , would probably lick the delivery guy if they got out , that dog has bad vision trying to head butt a window like that

I would be very disappointed and upset. My dog is a 9lb Maltese Pomeranian mix. She wouldn’t cause much damage but still.
