I'd kill the dog. Not kidding, dogs have no legal rights, if a dog attacks a human, at least where I'm from, it's life is forfeit.

So no, I'd not sue the neighbor, I'd just defend my self with lethal force.

This actually happened in my neighborhood. I stepped out of my home to a dog attacking a toddler. I blew the dogs head off. Neighbors tried to sue, I showed the judge my security footage of what was happening, the judge not only ruled in my favor but offered me the chance to sue the owners for the harm their dog caused my kid.

Would never happen. The dog would be dead within seconds of attacking me or anyone i care about in my presence. More likely they would try to sue me.

Yes and have it put down. My husband would probably shoot it. He shot the neighbor's dog last year for constantly crapping on our lawn.
